Sony A9III - Global Shutter! But what are the possible downsides??? 😒

The Sony A9III was just announced and everyone is talking about the global shutter and what this means for stills and video in the camera industry. The camera seems amazing, and there's a lot to be said for a global shutter, but are there any downsides? I ask the questions that you should be asking too before jumping in.

I see you were at the Bild Expo and attended some of the same presentations I did. Wish I'd seen you, I'd have said hello. My biggest question about the global shutter is heat management. Without passive cooling and the body being about the same size as the A7R V, I've got real concerns.
