SONY Android TV - YouView App

Hi, i just purchased a new Sony Bravia TV. It the entry level 4k 49X830C. I've been trying to figure out how to get this channel guide to come. Whenever I press the Guide Button on the Remote, it says Feature available only when the TV has found digital channels. Now, I have Comcast Cable, why can't I get this guide? Please help. Thanks

What a great piece of software. The guy using it can't even wait to go back to the program he wanted to watch. If you're looking for a great catch up service then checkout Freeview play. Much faster, easier and backed by the largest tv broadcaster in the uk.

Can you use this with satellite lead ??

YouView may well be available now on Sony Android TVs - but what is not made clear is that it cripples some of the TV's built in functions and YouView itself does not match the facilities it has on say a BT or Humax box. Firstly, enabling Youview disables the built in Satellite tuner on these Sony Android TVs - Why? Secondly, it disables recording via USB and also blocks access to any recordings made up to the time YouView was enabled - This makes no sense whatsoever. YouView on Android has NO recording capabilities even though the base hardware does. This all combined with a very 'buggy' Android systems that needs constant rebooting to maintain all facilities and often spontaneously reboots of its own accord. All in all, a very substandard experience which does not compare well to the 'smart' operating systems on the newer Panasonic, Samsung and LG TVs.

when I use youview, it removes my digital satellite channels? any way of bypassing this as I want to use iplayer as well as general satellite
