There appears to be no programme reminder for a program starting later on. All the others have this facility.

Exactly!! I've been driving myself mad trying to find a simple thing as a reminder, for a certain program!! My ancient Sony bravia has this!! Foundumental option anyone would have thought!! Abosulty redickless!!!!

you can't record which is a real bummer or pause live TV. You can record and Pause live TV if you use Sony EPG program you have to disable youview so not such a great programme after all. Also Sony youview does not have UKTV demand app but yet all other youview box's out on the market does??

You can only record your Digital Tv chanell to a external HDD IF YOU SWITCH OF YOUVIEW in your settings. You cannot record from youview unless you have a seperate youview box , it will say "this feature is not available" if you try . Once Youview is switched off . The normal digital channels can be recorded .

Hi Fuori, thanks for the comment. The model featured looks like it could be the X90C which is available in a screen size of 55, 65 or 75 inch.

So I take it that it will not work if you do not have an outside aerial?

Hi Kas, thanks for the comment. We can confirm in order to access YouView you will require an aerial connection, the stronger the better.

My Sony Bravia can’t even get you view. It asks me if I want to use cable or aerial to tune, and neither option gets the channels. Both options result in a message saying it can’t find any services. I’m connected to a Sky Box currently.

@@paulgates4083 I gave up trying and ended up pressing the apps button on the remote and downloaded the different channel apps from there. Not sure that covers everything you want though mate. I think there might be an app for YouView but I couldn’t find it.

Youview on sony bravia disables the ability to pause and rewind live tv, if you disable Youview then the catch-up apps refuse to work. This is not "smart".

First advice for sales staff is to tell the customer that if they don't have a decent terrestrial aerial then even enabling YouView on the TV will DISABLE their satellite input on the TV. This is really bad design choice by SONY that is not made clear until the customer has shelled out £1000's on a TV only to find out a key feature doesn't even work.

It is a shame you cannot delete some of the players. Mine has POP on it which I don't want my child accessing yet it will not let me delete it. The reason we got the Sony was so that we could give our child a restricted profile yet now he has full access to the channel we have blocked.

Another disappointment in sony, can't even set a reminder, for further programme, fundamental option, anyone would have thought!! Abosulty redickless sony!! You have dropped the ball to many times lately, your not the power you used to be by far, I always bought Sony, but now will look elsewhere!! Redickless!!

not true at all. I have a bravia xf9005 and can pair bkuetooth headphones no problem. you must have an older bravia or one that doesnt have bluetooth

@@failspencer9969 mine is 2018 I spoke to Sony help line and he told me that he would recommend it for the next update!! I don't have a set top box if that's the reason,?? But as it stands I can't save or set a reminder for the next program!! I find this very annoying, any freeview box for £20 has this feature!! I've just realised that you are not talking to me 😂

You can add a external bluetooth adaptor and connect it via the audio port. You then connect the headphones to the adaptor . Its ridiculous , but that what it is . Adaptors come in single or double connect so choose thwe correct one if you need more than one headset . We use a avantree priva

Rubbish system Sony needs to come to the 21st century with better options for satellite
