The threaded holes on top of the battery plate mixed with the mid49 gold mount adapter plate is the only “hard mount” gold mount option I’ve been able to find

Didn't know this... I need to order a shoulder plate and battery plate. Been shooting FX9 past two weeks. Looking forward to more Burano days. Thanks.

So the Burano will be your official go-to this year! I was able to wiggle my way out of the deposit for the Burano because of the delivery delays in Feb/March. I was kinda happy I didn't get the camera after seeing some issues on KZbin. But if you trust it as your go-to, over your FX9, then I might have to revisit this.

Yes, been using the camera consistently past three weeks.

Going to try out those smallrig cable clamps as well as that shape one. Love all the little knick knacks you share with your setups

Clamp has been great. I now keep my earbuds permanently attached to the A camera. Didn't realize how much time I was wasting connecting and constantly untangling.

11:00 I do love the little ear buds clamp idea from david, though also recently did a purge of my in-ears cheep collection, when we have Moondrop CHU II's now that cost practically nothing (20USD) there is just zero point having lesser, like apple or generic clone 2000s buds kicking about as everthing sub 50USD (Linsol/Tin HiFi etc) are amazing for field use and the higher end of that are the wide flat profile ones so fit flush, so ear defenders etc can be worn without breaching hearing protection, far better then the Air Pod Pros on a BT puck, I had too many issues with RFI knocking them out on phones and dedicated TX/RX boxes.

Ordered the Moondrop CHI II, appreciate the suggestion.

I have two of the same URX-P03 Sony mics and just got the SMADP3 Mi shoe adapter for running one on my FX6, works great. Pretty sure the FX9 has the same Mi shoe. Helped delay my purchase of the UWP-D27 kit a little longer.

Which cart is that one? Rocknroller? Love the content and especially the videos where the helping hand gets to enjoy the event!

On stage. Better handle system vs rocknroller

I enjoy your vids, thanks. What are you using to mount your tripod to the front of your small cart in the shot when you arrive at the rodeo?

Any reason you’re preferring S-Cinetone for your news look as opposed to setting the base look to ITU-R709?

I'm running the Movcam Burano cage + their Anton Bauer adapter plate. It has 2 ptap's on the top and lemo's on the side. Well made, very lightweight and priced right.

Saw your post on FB, the setup looks great. I've been happy with their aks on my FX9 cameras. Thanks.

Active stabilization is a god send for walk and talk or “I don’t have a dolly but want it to look like a dolly”, but terrible for anything that’s nodal (pan tilt) movement.

Just out of curiosity, why at kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4iwl4OwjqqcaqMsi=Xu-tEM4rqcFRgnmr&t=1121, why blacking out the Sennheiser heading on the microphone?

Could have used black electrical tape? Maybe marker is more permanent.

Tape makes for sticky adhesive goo. The mic sits in my van cooking in the heat. Sharpie can be removed with alcohol, but I don't anticipate the need to remove it.
