Thanks to you I finally understand how to expose the right way for S-Log outdoors in run & gun situations along with how to color correct better. The exposure meter had never made any sense to me, and has always messed up the quality of my videos, until now. You explained to manually expose, instead of letting the camera do the guessing. Also the color correction part of your video makes more sense to me now than any other videos I have seen out there on KZbin. One million thanks again and can’t wait to start filming soon, the right way. You gained a Subscriber!

Excellent content Josh. Just updated my FX3 this morning after contacting Sony. I have the new Macbook M1 and the new software was not cooperating. We switched to an older Intel Mac and I was able to do the upgrade. I just watched this entire video and I think you have done all of the viewers a big favour so thanks again. Thank you so much! Yeah sometimes updating Sony cameras with Macs can be tricky. It is frustrating. I was surprised that I couldn't do these latest firmware updates with the SD card since the camera has that option in it.

Oh man, this is so helpful. I've been struggling to figure out all these settings on the FX3 and I feel so much more comfortable now. I plan on coming back to this video whenever I forget something or want to see how something works. It's like my bible for 90% of everything there is to know about this camera. One thing I'm struggling with are the picture profiles. With the settings shown in this video, they can't even be chosen. I'm left wondering what they're even for and how they can be useful to me. There's also so many networking and connection options that I am completely lost as to where to start. I'll certainly check your stuff first for that and anything else I need to know. Thank you!

One of the things I love about Sony is how customizable everything is. Most of the customizations you landed on sound terrible to me, but that's fine because it works for you, haha. I'm glad we can choose how to set up our own gear in a way that works best for us instead of being told what the universal one best way is and needing to find workarounds for all the stuff we won't use.

I don’t want the camera to overheat and I plan to film in Greece this summer with temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius. What would you do? I don’t pay any money as everything will be sponsored by my company. What would You do in my case if money is no problem up to 8k budget only for the body?
