Hello. Sadly I can't make a review as I actually sold this camera to a friend for shooting nature. He told me last time I saw him about a week ago that the camera works great! It has a decent microphone and the optical image stabilization works great when he doesn't have a tripod! sorry I can't make a review but the camera takes amazing footage at 60p!

Thank you for sharing the video! Since it's a costco exclusive it is hard to find much information on the camcorder. When you pair it with a cell phone are you able to do screen mirroring to view what the camcorder views in real time, or does it only allow for file transfers and remote control?

When you pair it with your phone, yes you are able to see what it sees in real time. You also can zoom, record, and take a pic all from the app. I had an issue transfers video though to my phone but it transfers pictures just fine! Thank you for watching the video! And I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Very helpful, I think I am going to pick one up tomorrow. What app do you use to pair it and control it with your phone? Also, about how far away from the camcorder can you control it with your phone? Thanks again for all the useful info!

You welcome! I use Sonys PlayMemories Mobile app for IOS and they also have it for android. Anyway, I didn't measure the distance from the camera but it is over Wi-FI as in the camera broadcasts it's own wifi signal. so I am guessing it could go pretty far. But the camera works great with the app and thanks for replying!

any idea how to delet ALL images/videos? i have spent hours but with no luck. It has delete by event and the other option, but then it leaves u hanging?

The only thing I could think of is to literally format the memory card/internal memory. That would be in the settings. I don't remember exactly how to do it, But that is what I would do to delete everything.

Take out the memory card and throw it in the trash

Did you get the San Disk Memory card to work? Mine says its noncompatable. Costco's concierge service connected me to Sony, and Sony says the camera only took Sony Memory Cards.

Really? That's strange. My SanDisk SD card works fine. When I put it in the camera I had to format it but after that it worked great. Weird that everybody is saying its incompatible when it says it's SD compatible right on the box. I haven't had any major issues with the camera or card and it has been a good camera

So I watched you open a box inside with the lightso n while you're wearing sunglasses.... Was looking for something which spoke about the camera and its specs... not how the speakers have a cool material..
