Notice how he didn’t mention the PC app that is required for software updates. I own first the M9, and although it has a BEAUTIFUL SCREEN! And I mean really really good! The monitor has some AWFUL quirks that will make a lot of people feel bad about their purchase. The delay when it’s searching for the hdmi, or DP port is awfully slow and trying to figure out how to do a software update is even more frustrating. Those are just a few things that are really annoying and frustrating. I wish Sony would fix these issues instead of making a new product and acting like the first one is just fine. 😢

As an owner of the original M9 and as a PS5 gamer, I see no reason to “upgrade” to the new mark II, particularly with the usb-c disappearing. Also see no reason to get a PS5 Pro. Really disappointing from Sony

@@LegacyRap777 I bought the original specifically for the powered USB-C port (works like a one cable solution for my M1 MBP, it delivers enough juice so I don't need a separate charger, can plug in my iPad the same way) and the KVM switch for my gaming PC. So this would not be a product for me. 144Hz to 160Hz is not much of an upgrade. But the M10 looks cool, might go for that with my next build.

I wanna know that the new presets in the OSD menu, such as sRGB mode and DisplayHDR mode which only M9II has compared to the M9I, is there some differences or amazing performance?I see that the hardware parameters of the two are almost the same, so there may be some differences in these display presets. And how do these two new presets perform when connected to a PS5? Can they be enabled? Or it is impossible to change the presets in HDR mode on the PS5,just PC? If there is an improvement, I may consider the second generation.Because the monitor I am using now has some display presets in HDR mode, such as movie mode, game mode, standard mode, and DisplayHDR mode. Among these modes, the display effect of DisplayHDR mode is the best in almost all environments, so I am very curious about some of the new display presets added by M9II, whether they have almost comprehensive display improvements, and how they perform on PS5.

Display is not competitive anymore IMO. Disappointed they didn't update it after so many improvements in the monitor market. Still less than 100 dimming zones. There are better ones for less. OLED 4k 32" 240 Hz+, Mini-LED monitors with more than 1000 dimming zones..
@DavidJosephBothАй бұрын
OLEd burns in man. i pause my game constantly, oled tv is annoying, imagine a monitor. You gotta do pixel shifting and tricks to hide taskbar etc.. i prefer VA fast response, ghosting sucks though. IPS just can't match the contrast. Didn't sony release a m10s inzone, that is 27" oled?
@tinybit780Ай бұрын
@@DavidJosephBoth never had burn in. I don’t hide the taskbar. Newest generations are better in preventing burn in and you get 3 years warranty, but I actually wanted Mini-LED for the M9 II. I like to have more brightness. However, I was looking for a better Mini-LED implementation for their 4k monitor. I expected them to add Mini-LED with way more zones, perhaps even inspired by their newest Bravia tech which launched recently. Instead they probably use 96 dimming zones again which is a joke for such a high price. To me it seems it is basically the same panel from mark 1 with a bit more brightness made possible by higher power input, thus more energy. Inzone M9 is outdated higher end tech by today’s standards. I’d have immediately bought if they had added way more zones compared to its predecessor.
