Which one is your pick between the Sony ULT Field 7 and the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus? Ultimately, I prefer the Sony ULT Field 7 for it's cleaner, more spacious sound. The bass hits a little deeper than the Soundcore Motion Boom 2 Plus and it also get's a bit louder. However, when I want more portability with a lighter & smaller package, the Boom 2 Plus is an easy choice!

I love my sony xb43s and xb33s, but im no perfectly happy with the Ult 7. It sounds great & impressive at lower volumes (around 15-35%), but from 40% upwards it gets a bit harsh, like metallic to my ears. At least when you are close within 3m of the speakers (more far away the harshness reduces itself). I'm sensitive to harshness and I love the xb33/43 for not getting harsh even at high volumes.

How would you say the Sony compares to the W - KING X20 ? I made a comment on another video post saying that the W - KING X20 outperforms the JBL BB3 in battery mode. Now keep in mind, I own both of these speakers. Someone replied back, no it doesn’t. I replied back saying that I own both of them. JBL fanboys are ridiculous.😅

The JBL fanboys are definitely ridiculous. Lol! I don't think the X20 can outperform ULT Field 7 clarity and sound stage. The dedicated sub in the X20 does a good job, but music extends much further than bass. I still pick Sony over both of them.

Yeah, JBL people man... I have the X20 and the older BB2. There is a small volume range around like 40-60% where the JBL has a little bit of an edge but my god that X20 is a volume powerhouse. I hard;y use the JBL anymore. If I want good volume, it is the X20 now. if I want a speaker to take to the beach with a decent amount of low end, it is the Boom 2 Plus sue to the light weight and shoulder strap.

What will you like to carry A big speaker or speaker that sounds good and is easy to go anywhere... That is soundcore.... Music to entratain....not heavy speaker... Is not a back breaker.... I took that baby to the "playa" Men ,that speaker sounds good..and it jams Good. And Exelente....

I think the 45 Watts is the power consumption, so how much electricity it uses, not Sound Watts. But I cant find any informations to the Watts of the drivers.

Im a Sony product fan, but it sounds brighter and puncher than the Soundcore. Good job, Sony .Now, it's time for them to step up to brands like LG and Samsung families of companies electronics that include JBL and Harmond ,etc.

The Boom2Plus is a good speaker, but not at $249.99. The Bluetooth market is very competitive. There are other speakers that’ll outperform it for less. I’m thinking &179.99 - $199.99 would be more appropriately priced for what it offers.

@@PaulPaid The W-KING X20. It retails for $319.99 but right now on Amazon, you can get it with $104.00 coupon bringing the price down to $216.00. This speaker is rated at 200 watts RMS/ 300 watts peak & I own one myself. I watched a comparison video between the X20 & the Boom2Plus & it wasn't even fair or close. The X20 was considerably louder with better detailed mids & cleaner highs. There's 1 drawback to the X20: the size & weight. It's not a grab & walk around speaker. It's a speaker that you'll want to set down in 1 spot. I don't use the bass boost because it muddies up the mids & highs. With the bass boost turned off & the 10 band EQ tuned properly, you can max out the volume & it'll keep most of it's bass & the mids & highs never sound distorted, ear piercing or shrill. For the money spent, you won't find a better performing speaker. I don't know about 200 watts RMS, but I'm willing to bet money that it's putting out every bit of 150 watts RMS. Especially when you consider that it's rated at 300 watts peak. This speaker was made for & excels in the outdoors.

@@PaulPaid I have 1 more for you. The BUGANI BOOST MAX. When it first came out it retailed for $249.99 with a 20% off coupon bringing the price down to $199.99. At this price, the speaker was a steal. It's rated at 240 watts max which means that it should be putting out around 120 watts RMS. I watched a comparison video between this speaker & the X20. The X20 was overall louder with fuller deeper bass. The Ulta crisp & clean mids & highs from the BUGANI is just amazing. The bass is there, but it has more of a balanced sound profile where nothing overpowers the other. Unfortunately, Amazon raised the full retail price to $299.99 recently, but it still has the 20% coupon bringing the price down to $239.99 For less money, you can get the X20. If the BUGANI ever goes back down to $199.99 you should jump on it. It's a really nice sounding speaker.

It wasn't even close or fair. The X20 was considerably louder with much more detailed mids & cleaner highs. Also at max volume, the X20 holds it sound together extremely well, especially for a budget speaker.
