#sony #vintageaudio #walkman This one was sent to me to repair, and it has no sound. This one had many interesting twists and turns, but can we fix it?

There's something just so relaxing about these videos. It's not just the nostalgia. I dunno, they're just unique I guess.

What a neat device. You are very patient to rebuild those tiny circuits. I am too much of a brute to do that lol

I had a miniature one of these from Japan in the 80’s. Very high quality with a solid metal case. Barely bigger than a tape.

Hi' I wanted to ask if you are doing repairs on these units. I do have one that I had used the wrong polarity. Could you repair this?

Yikes! Maybe but the likelihood is remote. Those power supplies are generally center negative, and there's zero protection. It typically kills the servo IC and if it's dead that's it as they are hard to get so you can only hope that it didn't get damaged...
