Yeah, the 77" A80J is better than the A80K. The J in 77" has an EVO panel.

For 99.9% of us either tv would be more than enough as far as color, contrast and clarity. But the Sony oled tvs are simply the best as far as viewing experience.

A80k coming in with the brightness and clarity, but not as saturated or deep in blacks or 3D ish depth. The OLED has the richness, blacks, and depth, but it also has an issue being clear in daylight scenes, like the beach.

Scored an open box deal for a 65" A80K for $953 at Bestbuy, was dusty but after some cleaning and it was brand new, I also have a 65 A80J I bought for $1100 & will always stick with OLED because I love my blacks 😏

In a Bright room MiniLED wins, but use them in a dark room and see how the infinite contrast in OLED always wins

Seems like the OLED has darker blacks but also has more of a blue tint on it compared to the mini led. Not sure if it's the camera. example: 0:25

OLED’s colors look deeper, more colorful, but the Mini LED looks much brighter. I like the deeper/more colorful colors of the OLED, but I like a brighter overall picture, especially in 4K/HDR. I’d have to say the X95K, but probably in an 85”, since I have the Z9F in 75” as I’m looking to get an 85” Mini LED or 77” OLED. Just not sure the OLED gets bright enough for me.

@FPSWizard it will probably be the same. The only X 95K if you want perfect black levels is the 85 inch with the back light Master Drive.

Is it worth getting the new one over the last year‘s model is my question. I have read the 85 inch X95K is far superior than the smaller sized models.

If you love true to life Sony is that brand , I think I can honestly say after buying the a80k that I would have picked the x95k if I could do it over , when a color doesn’t pop and when I watch something accurate but it looks bland all the time it’s so boring , I don’t like my tv anymore and if anyone wants to buy it I would sell it in a heartbeat, I’m not saying it’s a bad tv , I’m saying it’s not for me.

X95L wins this duell. Color accuracy is crazy, the OLED is very blue-ish. For a Movie Fan x95L is the way to go

It doesn't matter if you have 100, 1.000 or 10.000 dimming zones in a LED. An OLED always got 8 million...

That’s where you’re wrong because it does matter it matters if you have an LED television set. We could also flip that what you just said we could say it doesn’t matter what Oled you have QD or w? It can only get so bright, without washing out the black level. LED will always appear brighter, Which is not true anymore necessarily and depends on which one you buy . I’ve had 15 Oled tvs in the last seven years I think I know a little bit about the technology. Thanks for your concern.🥂

uh...... I love oled, but me and my fiancee love gaming. I just can't see us getting an oled and risking burn in. I've thought about getting the G3 but i get mixed messages online about the burn in coverage for the G3
