X80K almost just as good-looking at a much lower price. X90L, if can afford it.

You can't judge Tv's based on videos taken in a store. If you put both TV's in your home and set the pictures settings properly you will see there is a way bigger difference than this video is showing. Overall X90L is a way better TV because of the VA panel and local dimming which gives you much better contrast, blacks and brightness. X80L can't even do proper HDR.

The 85 inch model on the X80L does support 120Hz display and full HDR, but not on the smaller sizes.@@skyform

@@Noahvis4Of course it supports HDR. I never said it doesn't, even smaller models support HDR and DV but but they can't do proper HDR and DV because of the IPS panel! No TV with IPS and without any local dimming can do proper HDR, it's flat and boring with poor contrast and blacks. Even 85" with VA panel does not do such a good HDR as FALD or Mini LED TV. It's just not possible because direct and edge LED TV's are limited regarding brightness, contrast and black level.

I will just go for the X90L because I've heard It is really good this year. I have seen several favorable reviews about the X90L. 😊

@@TheKwod I dont find it over priced but I am still waiting for 2 more months for a deal to grab .. I saw the Tv with my own eyes today .. 90L is looking superior than a samsung Qled flagship ..

@@TheKwodWell I’ve seen Sony tvs side by side other brands like LG, Samsung, and Hisense. Sony image is very clear and very natural looking. They may not be the brightest on the market but that can actually be a good thing. Most tvs that are bright are too bright ans don’t show the content how it was intended. Sony shows it closer to what the creators intended. So they are better than most. Especially Hisense. Hisense tvs appear cloudy and there is a weird inconsistency in their colors.

@dperr338 in my experience, Sony LEDs are some of the worse looking instore as they lack brightness. Samsung qn90, qn85, s90c and hisense u8h, u8k look the best instore.

@@TheKwod Sony gets plenty bright. You’re not watching them in store room conditions at home. Need to ignore brightness and look at other aspects of the picture. Color reproduction, processing, motion, etc. Sony looks better than others. Sony leans more natural not saturated and bright like Hisense and Samsung.

x80k has better yellow and red colors but x90l has more better white level

1. the camera makes X90L look more washed out at times because X90L is brighter then X80L so the camera overexposes the image of X90L. 2. live color settings destroy yellows and reds, even more so on TV's with Va panels and local dimming. Yellow becomes washed out and redish. I'm talking from experience, I had many Sony TV's at home. With proper settings, colors look very similar on both Tv's but overall X90L is a way better TV because of the VA panel and local dimming which gives you much better contrast, blacks and brightness. X80L can't even do proper HDR.

x80K is basic 60hz Qled, X90L is 120 hz fald 1000 nits TV. So X90L should be way better than X80K by all means.

It’s direct lit without local dimming. Direct lit and full array are essentially the same thing just full array has local dimming divided into zones and direct lit has no local dimming.

@dperr338 no, direct lit has limited LEDs whereas full array covers the entire panel, of course mini led has even more LEDs.
