Thanks a lot @Murat Dinler. Works in the year 2017 on Sony Xperia X2. After multiple attempts, I gave up. Then when I did the reset using Hardware buttons (Power and Volume Up), it power on.

You're a legend. I don't have a hair dryer so used an iron with a towel. Did the trick. Also I have an Xperia Z. Bit of a different hardware layout but I managed to figure it out. Phones a little scratched up but better than no phone.

My Xperia died today (again). Last time it died it was on warranty period, and the service center said they don't fix water proof phones. On repeated request the gave me a replacement with on warranty. It has to either work or go into the bin. This video just saved the phone. Thank a lot.

OMG you helped me fix my Xperia SO-05D... Nothing worked (TRIED EVERYTHING) so I removed battery, connect USB to wall then USB to phone, as soon as I saw the sony logo I plugged the battery back and BOOM i can see the recharge symbol now ty so much.

Tried it but I noticed that once I plugged in the battery and let go of the connection it stopped working again I sussed out its a loose battery connection fixed with a tiny bit of bluetack between the connection and the back case it's now working great Thanks very much for your video it's helped me to have the confidence to open the phone and discover the issue EBay Muslims we bought it from wouldn't help at all even though we only bought it 3 days ago LESSON LEARNED

Hello, when I put the back cover, am I forced to put new stickers? The old ones already on the window are no longer good? I want to put the back cover directly without putting glue or new stickers, is it possible? Thanks work I some how was able to fit my finger nail in the side prire it open this fix my power problem I had disconnect battery and reconnect it I recommend glue the side back to insure waterproofing afterwords so it stays seal
