Roland and Jake look good enough, as does what I saw of Mid-World. But Walter looking at a computer screen asking, "what have we got?" is ridiculous. He's a sorcerer and has never needed doors to travel between worlds. Imagine how the Dixie Pig was described in the books. Who are these punks/cannon fodder? Would Walter really have inflicted hate on someone he doesn't know? He - even as a supreme evil - is above that. He wouldn't consider it worth his time. Why are you trying to explain beam breaking in the first movie? Travelling between worlds isn't supposed to be like Stargate! I don't think I should watch this movie.

'Walter Paddick' has a mortal body...true enough, he has great powers of the mind, yet he is vulnerable because of own ego...he himself has no idea of why he wants the 'Beams' to break or the 'Tower' to crumble and fade.'Walter O'Dim' is not a 'demi-god' nor is he immortal...he wants Roland dead because he fears him...and hates what he stands for! (Walter can 'project' himself in different Worlds...but his physical self needs the 'doors' of the 'Old People' at Way-Stations to transit from one 'where/when' to another...and the computer-screen is just as 'Magick' as one of the glasses from the 'Wizard's Rainbow'...is not a 'lap-top' magic enough?'Walter' of himself in not 'Evil Incarnate'...he was molded by 'Ka' and time and circumstances even he does not understand.(there's no way in hell to compress the 'DT' story enough to place even into a 'Trilogy'...so some thematic elements were changed or 'left-out' altogether and a new 'Tale' was spun...so what?) Roland and his 'Quest' are still present...and so are many of companions'.

idris elba spent months in SA filming to be the bad, kickass hero roland deschain. he ended up with less time on screen than tom and matthew. same thing in this clip. he has less time on screen than tom and matthew. if sony is trying to build a new action/hero out of tom taylor then just do that. dont keep hyping me for idris elba and then give him the least amount of time on screen. oh i forgot the movie has already shown tom taylor as the hero. loved the movie because of idris/roland deschain. you cant change that faux pas unless you make another and let idris elba/roland deschain do his thing!
