One of the best friendships of the show ... morgan and shawn ... she quickly learns ... shawn does have emotions and is a medical genius ... and accepting he's the better surgeon ... while Park/Claire/and herself are about the same

They handle several cases on a daily basis and cannot afford to get emotionally attached because it would mean they'll be crying all day long. Slowly, it becomes a part of their nature.

Shaun has autism and savant syndrome. They are sometimes good and sometimes not very fun, but he can cope and so can people who have the same differences!😊

so the autistics dude gets no credit, wtf. tv show is good. when it features the main character, not side characters. that is every other hospital drama. hey let's make a show about an autistics doc., then give all the credit and screen time to or for other persons.
@HeatherfromBabylonАй бұрын
It's accurate, though. Autistics are often overlooked, and not given credit. We have solutions and brilliant answers, but partly because our lack of social skills, we are not heard or listened to, like we're invisible, almost. He fights to be heard, though, when he knows the solution. Some of us do, but some of us just quit talking altogether, because no one listens. We become completely isolated. I have Asperger's, so I can communicate a little better. It's very accurate, too, how he sees the illustrations in his mind. I see those, too. They must have consulted autistics for this show, because that's not well-known information about seeing illustrations like that.

Ok. After season one they really started pushing away from medical reality. But, a doctor sitting bedside, especially a surgeon and doing thier own EKG?? Thats way to rfar from reality.
