Him I have 75xg9505. Stuck on rebooting at Sony logo. I tried to hold power and volumn down buttons (while plugign power cord) and also all 3 buttons, but I don`t have green led or any other reaction. Still rebooting. Is there any other way?

Mine doesn't start when poweron from remote. Had to wait again for 1 min to press power in order to start. Factory reset and power cord removal is already done. This is post upgrade issue. Please help

Hi..my TV suddenly no picture and only voice. I turn it off by remote and start again. Unfortunately its off with red and green light on bottom keep blinking. I already off the hook and tried to restart...the red-green light keep blinking with no SONY logo appear. What should i do ?

Tried factory reset, now it’s stuck in continuous restart loop the moment it reaches welcome screen. Android OS is very slow, Typically taking around 3-5 minutes to reach the welcome screen Restarts=> sony logo=> android logo=> Bravia logo=> welcome screen => Restarts Kindly help

My Sony XBR-55X800E Turns on by itself when plugged in, pops up Sony on the screen, after about 3 seconds it has the Google booting graphics for about 10 seconds. Then the TV shuts off then does this process multiple times. Can't get no response out of it. Yes I have tried the factory reset process with no luck. But if I leave it on for about 3 hours doing this, it eventually freezes on Google boot logo. Just 4 colored dots. Not sure what to do. It was a $700 tv

I did the factory reset as the TV was becoming so slow it was unusable. Unfortunately it now displays nothing, it turns on but recognises no input from the remote, it displays nothing, there is no sound. It is simply backlit and that’s it. Edit: it shows the Sony logo. Then nothing. I imagine it failed at reinstalling android or something. Anyone got a solution? Maybe there’s a way to reinstall via usb?

So i tried all of these and none of the work.. it’s stuck on reboot loop since yesterday.. i have 75x950h that i just bought end of September this year. It’s getting frustrating since i cannot return it to the store anymore since it’s past the return/exchange timeline.. and when i get to setup most of the time I don’t get to finish setting up and it shuts off..

We recommend following the troubleshooting steps below: 1. Make sure both the TV and other device are turned on. 2. While turned on, unplug the power cords for the TV and device from the electrical outlet. 3. Disconnect the HDMI cables from the TV and other product. 4. Wait 60 seconds. 5. While the HDMI cables are disconnected, plug the power cords back into the electrical outlet. 6. Turn on the TV. 7. Re-connect the HDMI cables. 8. Turn on the HDMI-connected product. What if i did the factory reset combo but the tv is stuck on sony logo with green light on below the tv ? Also why is my tv so laggy. It doesnt erase the ram periodically ? My storage had only 2 gb taken up out of 8. This unacceptable ! I cluldnt even navigate the menus and the tv would stuck on every 3 clicks on the remote nagivation on the tv settings. Also it wouldnt restart even if i had found a new firmware update. PLEASE HELP UNLESS YOU WANT ME TO BUY OTHER TV FROM DIFFERENT BRAND.

Factory reset option in the settings menu doesn't do anything. I tried resetting the TV with buttons but it boots up normally and goes to my home screen. Please help. I have a 900E.

@@SonySupportUSA i'm experiencing the same problem. I factory reset the tv several times and it just reboots . it says storage is full. I tried to erase apps but they come right back. I tried everything. The TV either reboots before I can erase or it brings the apps.

I am having an issue where my Apple TV doesn’t turn the tv on anymore if the tv sits for a more than a few hours. The only way I get it on is if I use the remote and it will always display the android screen. I’m at the point where I’m just done . I really don’t like android os but otherwise I like the tv. I have XBR-65X850G all the three reset options doesn't seem to work, it was working till yesterday night, now it's not starting. Have no other devices connected. What can I try to get tv started

Download latest firmware file and extract the .pkg in root of USB Drive (I had FAT32, NTFS should also work I guess) Rename firmware file to upgrade_loader.pkg - so this was what basically that guy said in the video. If the default file doesn't start the android installation, rename it to this. Pull out TV plug and wait for 2 min Put the USB Drive in USB1 slot (probably any USB slot should work) Plug-in TV (do not turn ON, do not press any button at all) Firmware installation should start from the USB and you should see that "do not plug out" image. Installation might take upto an hour but can sometimes take upto 8 hrs, so just leave it there. Once/if the installation finished and you're greeted with the setup screen, take out the USB drive Highly recommend doing a Factory Reset from TV's menu but not necessary. Just remember, if you're doing factory reset, do not keep that USB drive plugged in, or the firmware will start re-installing from that USB Hopefully this saves somebody's day. I went through all this trouble not because I couldn't afford a new TV but rather it bothered me that hardware is perfectly good but a software glitch broke it (yeah, I'm a bit nerdy). In a perfect world, every TV should have a separate firmware just for HDMI input, anything else should be on top of that. TLDR: Extract the latest firmware on root of a USB drive, rename the firmware file to upgrade_loader.pkg, put it in TV usb slot, plug-in the tv to power (do not turn on the TV or press any button). Firmware should reinstall from USB

TV stuck in Andriod 4 color circles. Contacted Sony customer service and there is no fix or help Sony will give you. TV worked perfect for 5 years and turned it on and stopped working. Known issue that needs a recall on the part by Sony.. It needs a main board replacement on the factory defective boards. So my perfectly working TV is now garbage over parts Sony used in thier TVs.. Parts are not available anywhere, except for 1 part for $300 from some random Ebay store.. I feel so ripped off.. this TV should be good for atleast 15 years. Sony will provide you with no help once your standard factory warranty is up.

@@SonySupportUSA You know, your trouble shooting tips do nothing for this issue.. I got the TV to come back on for 3 days and today randomly it's back to being messed up again. Funny how Sony will say they have customer service or live chat to help you, just so others reading will feel like they have help when they need it. But the reality of that is as soon as you're out of warranty, all the do is tell you to have your tv serviced by a repair shop and they will give you a number to a sony service center. That's it. They will tell you how to reset the tv, but that's the problem, that doesn't work. And, there's no sony service centers in my state.. This is a known factory defect, but sony knows nothing about it and won't admit it.

Mine is lagging so badly that it literally takes me 30 minutes to get to the menu to reset and then the option is not even there.

@@SonySupportUSA The other night I turned off the TV normally. The next day I want to turn on the TV but I couldn't. I changed the batteries on the remote but nothing helped. Then I reset the tv but I can't set the language, state and stuff because it doesn't work remotely. The TV model is KD-55XE8505

tried many times, doen't work. I been told motherboard issue, need to replay motherboard. only used 5 years, my last Sony last 7 years, my suggestion is NEVER BUY SONY TV

Mine is still stuck in a reboot loop. Forced factory reset did nothing and Sony basically told me I’m out of luck.

One of worst TV which have seen. Sony+Google+Andriod= Utter flop. The TV has all features but nothing works. Uma to connect to my wifi, hard reset is being done from past 3 days and it is still stuck. Didn't expect this from Sony. Recommend any new bees to stay away from Sony
