Paul Rodgers was asked to be lead singer for Queen many years after Freddie Mercury passed also. One of the best vocalist out there still doing it! His career started with the group FREE in 1968...but had been in other bands even earlier than that. Check out Shooting Star by Bad Company ... Absolute favorite song by them!

India, glad you checked this out! Bad Co is one rocking band! If your surprised by this, being in the crowd is even more! Paul Rodgers is known for being a bluesy type singer. Even Freddie Mercury of Queen told his band mates to have Paul as a front man. He is very respected for his talent by all! I've seen Bad Company numerous times on tour, even Paul on one of his solo gigs. He will always be my favorite!

I was a couple of minutes in, just watching your lovely reaction to this before I realised - I was at that gig! I've seen Bad Co. a few time and they never ever disappoint. Paul Rodgers is, without any doubt, the best blues rock vocalist ever, such soul. Mick Ralphs is also a brilliant blues guitarist, but because he was a contemporary of people like Gary Moore and Rory Gallagher, he has never really been given the credit he deserves.

Jonathan Smith - I was lucky enough to Bad Company and Joe Walsh on their "One Hell of a Night" tour, (damn. that was 2016...time flies). All I can say is that it surely was exactly that. Outdoor venue, warm summer night...wow!

One of my favorite bands and one of my favorites songs from them. The song was written by the guitarist Mick Ralphs and originally recorded by Mick's previous band Mott the Hoople but it sounds quite different than this version. Mick unfortunately had a stroke a few years ago and now I think he's pretty much retired. Paul Rodgers the singer is one of the best in Rock with his soulful, bluesy voice. Paul and drummer Simon Kirke still tour as Bad Company these days and I was fortunate enough to see them back in the 70's and again about 10 years ago, minus their bass player who has passed, even all these years later Paul Rodgers sounds terrific.
