I think he was channeling more of Little Richard on the piano. I heard Morris Day say in an interview, "We all wanted to be like Little Richard." Thus, explaining their glam look and Prince's style of piano playing. Check out the documentary "Little Richard: I Am Everything" on Max. You will see so much of where Prince got his showmanship. To jumping on top of the piano and taking his clothes off on stage.

Prince was quite spectacular as an all around artist. I also love the fact that you call out all of Prince's influences, like James Brown... Most reactions to Prince are focused on his clothing...I attended one of his concerts, wow!

Prince has so much style! Sure, his outfits should be noted (especially when he was wearing those pants with his ass sticking out 🤣) but I like to talk about his music, lyrics, musicianship and of course, his dancing. He was one of a kind! A brilliant artist and I do, truly miss him. 💜💜💜
