If only Henry knew he is about to experience the most amazing culinary Mum who exists on the planet. Of course he is impatient to see/taste what the rest of us are sautéing, chopping and blending as he watches from across the room and is like, “So Mum is the big cheese here and all I got was this lousy onesy? What’s up with that?” The recipe looks wonderful, as do you as a new again Mum, (after seeing my wife and daughter go through labor and C-section I will never again assume that I know anything) and we will hope to see more of Henry as well as his sis, Mum and GrandMum (don’t know how y’all label everyone there). Thanks for keeping us cooking, Marion. You are my go-to as I feed my girls 3-4 times per week. And Henry...you have it made, young man.

Pinkie Mitchell baking powder and baking soda aren’t the same. Yes, they both consist of natriumbicarbonate (NHCO3), but baking powder also contains either citric acid or tartar, which causes a chemical reaction that forms CO2 and makes dough rise. So it’s not the same, but similar.

@africansnowqueen You may be using too much. Only need about 1/2 teaspoon for the average servings of beef in Asian stir fries. Also don't leave it there too long 10 to 30 minutes should be enough otherwise it will change the flavour of the beef
