The recall was bullshit, and a staged plot. The original had nothing wrong with it.

I’ve got a couple of the original compact quick site versions. They had a recall years back and, after receiving the firearms, ran into import issues to return the pistols to the customers. They mailed back checks. Mine never gave me a problem so I kept them both and I really like the concept. I still shoot them regularly and they are my wife’s favorite pistols. Greats guns!

the front sight is the most important part of the pistol, especially in the actual gunfight scenario, the rear sight is difficult to level due to the urgency of the situation and the time gap to take a shot is as quick as your mind and reflexes can dictate.

Man, that pistol looks like it has very low recoil and muzzle flip. Does the bore axis being so low help with that?
@deucedeuce15727 ай бұрын
With the rear sight being in front, does that actually make you shoot better? It seems like it would, because although the sight radius is smaller, any side to side motion will be significantly compounded by the sights being so far from the axis of rotation (the grip). I guess the good and the bad could cancel each other out and/or it could either make it less accurate or more accurate (on average)... but I'm not sure if I've ever known anyone to test accuracy on a sight like this. edit: I just realized too though that when the front sight moves right, then so does the rear sight... so that could work against it also. I'm still clueless though and would appreciate anyone's opinion and/or experience.

I feel like anyone who complains about it not being optic ready doesn't really understand the point behind getting the "Quick Sight" model.

I want to like these guns but there’s really no excuse for the lack of optic cut. You have the entire rear of the slide vacant, there’d be no harm in giving us the option.

1. Before even watching the video, I don't even care whether or not the gun performs well. It is UGLY and I would never carry it. 2. Can someone explain why such a short sight picture, long considered one of the biggest weaknesses of pocket pistols and snubbies, is supposedly a strength for this gun?

Instead of a optic cut just mill a pic rail instead.
@deucedeuce15727 ай бұрын
It truly amazes me that any firearms produced in modern times are not drop safe. I think the drop testing in the US is kinda BS too though, because nearly every gun in the US that ends up not being drop safe is on the market ONLY because it already passed legal drop testing requirements. These companies also drop test their own guns too, because they don't want to be sued, because someone was shot, because their gun just went off from being dropped. With countless other drop safe guns on the market, you don't want to be the company that gets pointes out for firing when dropped. It can really damage you as a company.

As a vet who's seen lots of qualifications, I get why a conscript military (or even a volunteer military / PD that hires and trains people for non-smallarms skillsets and then issues them small arms) would prefer novice-proof guns. As a non-novice who understands that novice-proofing comes at the expense of trigger squeeze, I much prefer a "Series 70" approach and am glad the free market still offers that option.

This design is not suitable for rapid gun drawing, and the protrusion is easy to get stuck on the trousers when the special holster is not used, and it does not need to redesign a slide rail, reserve a connecting hole and install a modular sight at all. .
