Coming from a makeup artist, don’t contour like that lmao I used to teach people how to do makeup as a service. I’d specifically tell people not to do that because it WILL look like a beard in every angle except face on but even sometimes it looks like a 5 o’clock shadow from the front too. I recommend a two step process using two colors, a deeper contour shade and a bronzer shade. Find your cheekbone with your finger, your finger should find a gap in between your bones and lightly put the contour shade where your finger lays. Then but bronzer from that point and pull your brush upwards. It creates a illusion of the roundness of a bone. I hope this makes sense lmao

My favorite eyelash hack is to get a spoolie and apply setting powder throughout your lashes ...i do under and over (top lashes only)and then curl them and THEN apply mascara.....u dont have to worry about the mess in the way that Roseandben does it......but i thought everyone knew to coat lashes with matte setting powder before curling and then go crazy with the mascara.....it is literally like having building fibers on the lashes.....it works AMAZINGLY SOPH.....U JUST COAT YOUR LASHES WITH POWDER

It does actually work but usually it's more noticeable if they've been popped or have a small opening. Redness eye drops work by constricting the blood vessels, the opposite of vasodilation, so it will reduce redness in the area by essentially causing the blood vessels to tighten up meaning less blood flow to the area. It's not super effective topically & it wears off fairly quickly but it's completely harmless and works quickly.

Omg I’ve been wanting to try that eyelash hack from Rose. Thank you for showing us that it is not goof proof lol. The best eyelash hack that works for me is the one Erin Parsons uses. Curl in sections from the tip to the root. My lashes are straight and fall all the time, but not when I used that trick 😊

I’ve tried the mascara one from rose but I saw a different video. She applied setting powder directly to her lashes when the mascara was almost dry and then curled them, then applied another coat after. there wasn’t any transfer and It worked, but I used a waterproof mascara and the setting powder on the wand like de waterproofed the whole container for me 😵‍💫

Hey Soph, just a little heads up about the mascara hack. I'm not sure but I've heard many people say that if you curl your lashes after mascara it tends to break your lashes more and makes them weaker so something so just look into that. I really love your videos ❤️

I curl my lashes after mascara all the time! The key is to be gentle and slow and not pump the curler. I have yet to have a lash break and all of my lashes are intact! I also think using a mix of coconut/castor oil to remove the mascara each night helps to strengthen the lashes too.

The eyedrops she is using have a different ingredient than yours which may or may not work better. The brand is Lumify.

@sophdoeslife Adding powder to your mascara'd lashes is an old mua trick to make them thicker. It's best to apply the powder directly, with a spoolie or lash comb, and wait a bit longer. Mascara shouldn't be completely dry, but almost. Then, apply another layer of mascara over the powdered lashes, and you'll get major volume - should stay that way as well. Using a lashcurler is unnecessary and even 'dangerous': if you wait long enough, you will not rip them out, but breaking them is a huge possibility. Immediately or afterwards. Just do the powder, NOT the curler part (yeah, in the very beginning maybe, before mascara application). If you think the end result is too much, you can also apply powder, then mascara, skipping the 1st coat of mascara step. It basically works as a mascara primer. Edit: cleaned up my punctuation 🤷‍♀️

I get a mix of balayage and baby-lights (basically smaller highlights) throughout and leave a section of roots so it grows out more naturally! & usually go for a thicker “money piece” at the fromt of my hair to make it look overall more blonde! Thank you ☺️

Hello! Oddly enough I have been using the NYX Thick it Stick hack for while now. (I didn't even know it was a hack lol) The reason for me is that my eyebrows are fairly thin fall down without fail. I barley touch my brows at the top after application becasue any manipulation can cause gravity to take over. So for your girls with thinner falling brows that suffer from falling brows after product application, this may work for them. Thank you, great vid.

that contour technique is for asian face shape cus we commonly have lower cheekbone and wider jaw structure. same goes for the eyeliner trick, most asian love straight liner because we got small rounded hooded eyes.
