Fantastic, inward-looking interpretations... with staggering technical and intellectual skills the likes of which I've seldom heard before; inner-voices and melodic lines intermingle so incredibly harmoniously. ❤❤❤Garrick Ohlsson will be very impressed!

Legend has it that the audience is still applauding for more encores… Jokes aside… What an awe-inspiring, spectacular performance of this incredibly difficult program. From the first note until the last, everything was so under control, but at the same time so natural and spontaneous. It is unbelievable to witness someone her age play like this.

There aren’t a great number of unique Chinese family names and Liu has to be one of the most common, I would guess perhaps 100 million are called Liu.
