I''m so sorry for your loss )'; i know how it feels to lose a dog we've had for so long... Those who are going through something difficult today, always remember that God doesn't close one door without getting ready to open another with bigger and greater things. Go out and ENJOY THE SUN [but don't forget to wear your mask.] :) - working out, yoga, less on social media, meditating and drinking lots of water, eating less processed food and eating more greens and fruits in my diet has helped me overcome my dark gloomy skies and made me feel healthy ~

My dog (german shepherd) was doing the same thing for breakfast. It was because he wasn't as active since the warmer weather came along, we were always at the dog park with him. He would always eat dinner but hardly breakfast, try taking her out often & keep a routine dogs thrive off of that 😊

I haven’t had a single cigarette for four months now and it’s the best feeling ever. I feel like I can actually take full breaths now, my bad breath disappeared, my hair, clothes and body don’t stink, teeth and skin are brighter, eyes and mouth wrinkles halted, I can literally smell fresh cut fruit from the other room, no more guilt from smoking... I sound like an infomercial but it’s true lol. It’s crazy to be on the other side bc I’ve always had doubt about quitting in the back of my head every time I smoked. It felt like my lungs were incinerating and I would promise myself to quit but knew I couldn’t. Ladies just quit, cold turkey, ride it out for at least a month and once you make it to three months you will completely be rid of it and on to a new and improved life. It literally takes hours for your body to start repairing and regenerating after a cigarette so you can quit today. It did take my nephew passing away, getting alcohol poisoning, getting laid off from covid and going into quarantine for me to quit but find your reason. I’ve smoked since 13 and now I’m 28 so you can do it. It breaks my heart that my mom, sister, brother in law and boyfriend still smoke though. It’s just so not worth it guys. I’m on the other side and it’s frikkin magical, you won’t even want that shit anymore and will find smelling smoke on others low key gross. Just quit it.

First of all, thank you Sophia for being you, and creating this safe and welcoming atmosphere on your channel. I really related to the part about your childhood dog. My parents’ dog passed away just a few months before I could fly back home in 2017. She was only 5yrs old when she died. What made me really sad and angry at the time was that she died alone. For a while I couldn’t forgive my mom for leaving Nancy (our dog) alone, knowing that she won’t last longer and needed someone the most. I kept thinking how difficult it must be for Nancy to go through so much pain (she was really sick) and having nobody there for her when she left this world silently. Until this day, I still can’t help crying every single time I see other people’s dog passed away and relate to her death. I hope she is happier in another world and I would love to be her family again in the next life. I miss her so much. What makes me feel comforting is knowing that my husband and I will continue to treat our current dog (adopted 2yrs ago) with the most love and care we could ever give. ❤️ love you, Sophia 💕

Our furry companions are a huge part of our family and our hearts. I was away from home in college when I lost both my dog and my cat within a few months of each other. They both lived long, healthy lives of 15 and 16 years. But I was so heartbroken and sad and never felt any sadness like it. I appreciate you sharing it because although we always love to enjoy watching the beautiful lives of our pets or other people's pets, it is a very real part of being a pet parent. Sorry for your loss Sophie! All dogs go to heaven ❤️ as far as Luna not wanting to eat it’s completely normal! My husky has been doing this exact same thing everyday for about 3 years. We feed her regular dog kibble in the morning (to prevent wasting expensive raw food) and if she doesn’t eat it (she never does I think she ate breakfast maybe for one month when we first got her as a puppy and that’s it) we save it for later and add raw food to it for dinner and she always eats it in the evening. Huskies are so picky so don’t worry about it too much! They will eat when they are hungry :)

I’m so sorry for you and your family’s loss Sophie. 😔 I’ve lost 2 family dogs within the past few years and it’s still something I get easily emotional about even though so much time has passed. But when I think about the joy they’ve given me and my family and all that we gave them in return, it makes me smile. They can rest peacefully and happily 💙 As for your situation with getting Luna to eat her brekkie, girl SAME! I have a husky that’s 1 & 1/2 and it’s a hit or miss with her meals. About halfway through the stay-at-home order, since I was home more often, I started feeding her 3 times a day (but still giving her the same overall amount per day). I found out that she gets bored/tired of eating sometimes so when there’s too much in the bowl, she won’t even touch it. So annoying! lol But ever since I’ve been giving her less amounts but in more meals, she finishes them in one sitting. Hope it works for Luna!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Pets ARE family. My doggo Rambo is turning 11 in August, he's also my first pet ever. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer 4 months after I got Rambo. I truly believe God sent Rambo to us to help my mom and all of us get through it all. He kept her company when we all had to go to work everyday. After mom passed away, Rambo made me feel closer to her - she loved him so much. Now that he's getting old, everytime he's laying still for a while, I get extremely worried and call his name, watching out for an ear twitch or blinking, anything to show me he's still here. I'm so scared of losing him. He means the world to me. My heart broke when I saw you cry. I hope your mommy is going ok; Dori was her baby. 💔😢

Sorry for your loss :( must be hard because I’ve lost a puppy 3 years ago...took me a long time to be able to talk about him without tearing up! Stay strong I’m sure Dori is in a better place with all his friends. I also have a husky and he does the same thing during summer time, with the recent vet visit, he mentioned that it’s normal sometimes. They might be feeling too hot and not wanting to eat, as long as they have regular toileting routines, vet said should be fine. The inconsistency for meal intake is okay as long as they’re drinking enough water, get their exercise(walks and play), they should be good.

Sorry for your loss, loosing a furry family member is never easy. ----- in regards to Luna not eating, I have a Pomsky (Pomeranian/husky) and she will sometimes go through phases where she won’t want breakfast too, or even food in general. We talked to our vet about it too, she said that as long as she’s drinking water and acting normal, it’s not uncommon for dogs (and especially husky, they can be picky) to fast, or simply not feel like eating a meal. On days she doesn’t want breaky, we usually just give her a little more food for lunch and dinner (she eats raw too). And on days she doesn’t feel like eating (which are few and far between) we like to give her a raw treat like a freeze dried duck or turkey neck. We have tried different raw foods and company as well thinking it was the food she was bored of, but it didn’t really change her behavior. Hope this gives you a little peace of mind. But of course you’re her momma and if you think anything is off about her, definitely consult your vet!

my boyfriends cat recently passed away, i was really close with him though, he was so affectionate and loving he seemed human to me his name was Minolo it was so hard to deal with and to see my boyfriend in pain too, he was attacked by a dog and we couldn't be with Minolo in his last moments because of Covid and its really weighed on my mind and heart that we couldn't comfort him and that he was in pain, it felt like he got taken too soon even though he was 11 its hard but you and your family gave your dog such a lovely life you were all blessed to have each other, i take a lot of comfort in thinking maybe if there is something after we pass they will be waiting to greet us again :) 2020 is really putting everyone through extremely tough times...

I absolutely love your long vlogs because it's the only time in the day where I tell myself to take a break and enjoy something for myself during a busy work day. I look forward to when I can curl up with something good to eat or drink and enjoy your vlogs ❤️ keep up the great work Sophia 👍 Also ever since I found golden berries at trader Joe's, I've been eating them nonstop 😂😂 Your video edit is just tooooo good! I hope you make a short movie someday! I'm so sorry your dog passed away.. i couldn't even imagine the pain... 😭 My dog is reaching 8 and i know i have a good amount of time but it's never easy....

Hi Sophia. I have a female husky as well. She's 9 and only eats once a day. She won't eat breakfast or lunch and will just leave her food sitting so we only feed her around 5-6pm. Maybe Luna doesn't need as much food as well, which is why she doesn't eat breakfast.
