If you weren't sure by the way, Fred's father at the end is actually voiced by and designed around Stan Lee. Big Hero 6 was originally a marvel property. The movie did take a lot of creative liberty around the characters and ideas though, compared to the comics.

From what I've seen, the original comic bares no resemblance at all to this movie. It was actually set in the same universe as the rest of Marvel and featured some exiting characters from the X-Men comics.

Plot Twist, creators of the company that made this movie are actually just students getting ready to join the Disney Film makers. This been a thing since Toy Story and is why it is not called Disney as a business. They are more of partners and not a single group. They make great films right?

Not saying it's a bad idea, it's just that they didn't even hint at anything like that in the movie or the cartoon show. The vibe I always got was that it's some kind of parallel reality Earth where history played out differently in general.

There's tons of interviews where people talk about ideas they had or ways they interpreted things while working on a movie/show that directly contradict the official canon. 1:49 Can confirm. As soon as Hiro's opponent saw that Hiro was offering a much larger bet after his "oh poor me I'm just a beginner" act, he should have realized that he was being hustled. I did the same thing in college with chess and poker. I frequently played less well than I actually could when less money was at stake in order to induce my opponents to bet more so that I could win more money. It's called "playing under speed", but I call it "paying for school." Can't speak to bot fights though!

Big Hero 6 is an amazing film with great action, great characters, and great heartfelt moments. Who doesn’t love Baymax? I feel like it’s impossible to hate him. This movie is basically a Marvel film as it is based on a Marvel comic. It’s not only a great action film, but it also has some pretty emotional moments. Like Hiro losing his brother and then losing Baymax. I predicted these things would happen, but the way the scenes are executed is what makes them impactful. As usual, your videos never fail to put a smile on my face! You’re my favorite reactor and the most underrated!

Re: He only has one set of eyes, how does he target all of them at the same time? He doesn't have have to control all the microbots at the same time (constantly), he'd be able to order them in batches & give them specific instructions like "Grab the blue dragon thing" or "lift me up 3 metres & move me forward". That’s because there was a tragic incident when Walt purchased a house for his parents but the gas pipes became leaky and send his workers to fix but them unfortunately it got worse and his mother didn’t make it. And that’s how we see Disney parental deaths occur in some Disney films to this day.

How ironic is it to watch a movie about a kid coping with a loss when I'm having to deal with the loss of my mom myself? Like 4 days ago her brain began to shut down, and since then, I'm trying to cope with it, distract myself, and I'm already getting better and promised to live a life like she wished for me, just like in that "Simple Man" song. I know she will always be with me, but hearing Baymax say that to Hiro...that hit the feels. I legit thought of my mom saying that to me. Ironic...never thought I would see this movie any time soon, certainly not now. But life has it's mysteries. It was like a final message from my mom. And I'm thakful for that!

Big Hero 6 was one of my childhood favorites. I love Hiro's arc on the road to revenge to finally come off in it, Baymax has funny moments and is very endearing. The action and the visuals are epic and I really like the antagonist who has a badass presence with the microbods (with added motivation). Not to mention the end which is both beautiful and touching. Well, I'd say the movie has a few cliches about superhero codes, and when you're older, the villain reveal isn't so surprising anymore. So even if I've been a little detached from this film for a few years, it's still a good film, in my opinion, quite nice.👍

Gurl, this is my favorite Disney Movie of all time!! I still remember watching it on the big screen at the age of 10 or 11 years old and fell in love with the world, characters, funny and emotional story, not to mention it being Marvel related. It was the beginning of one of the fandoms I joined, I absolutely love 3000 so much. ❤️

Also, one more thing. A future non-animated movie that I highly (and I mean HIGHLY) recommend checking out in the future when it comes out on streaming is Top Gun: Maverick (and the original of course), my favorite film of the year and a movie that everyone keeps talking about! I saw it twice and I went to see it with my dad on Father’s Day and my god, it was not only one of the best sequels ever made, but quite possibly the greatest blockbuster ever created and a perfect example on how to create one! It’s also how movies today should be created and I think you’ll adore this film. Again, this is still playing in theaters, but when it comes out on streaming (most likely around the end of the year at this rate) you should definitely give it a watch!

I'm like, if somebody killed my brother, seeing him(the killer) tortured/dead would definitely be a pretty high point, and be my first step to closure.

Well, you would think that. But do you know? Grief and sadness do not work logical. And killing does not bring a person back. Secondly: Doesn't the "killer" have friends and family, too? They will want to take revenge, too, following this logic. So there will never be closure for anybody.

Hurting the person who took someone away from you may feel good in the moment, but it won't last. Eventually the high ends and ypu just feel empty because that person you loved is still gone and taking revenge won't fix that. In doing so it also creates a cycle of hatred.

At least the killer can't take the lives of other people and the satisfaction of having the person who hurt you to receive some form punishment. Moving forward is another story, but if I know for a fact that the person who killed my brother is suffering punishment or is dead, that's another weight of my mind. The we need to move on mentality is how repeat offenders happen. Why would a cycle of revenge begin, when, it's full knowledge that the killer was the person who dealt the first blow. A life for a life. Parity restored.

Ensuring that the perpetrator is facing punishment, is a hell of a way to start your personal journey of recovery. Could you imagine someone who've hurt you dearly walking around without any repercussions? That would burn me even more than the pain of lost. That's just me tho. Why would the cycle of hatred be a thing, he(killer) drew first blood, the moment his blood is spilt parity is restored. If let's say my brother abused his wife, and she ends up killing him in an altercation, why would I carry any hatred/ill will/vengeance towards her. I would expect the same should go in the opposite direction as well....

@@muhammadnazrin3390 people aren't rational. The scene in the movie for example was the protag wanting to kill the main villain as a direct response to finding out he was the reason his brother died. It wasn't to stop him from hurting anyone else. In doing so, he may have felt good in the moment had he been able to, but it would have burned out quickly. Yes, there should be punishment, but getting your own hands dirty probably won't make you feel better.

Hey, Sophie. Have you seen Disney's Dinosaur (2000) from the Post-Renaissance Era of Walt Disney Animation Studios before? I know it's highly underrated animated movie, but it's not that bad or boring movie, but I say it's a good movie to me, it's got live-action background and CGI animation styles for realistic dinosaurs and it was very cool, and it's got amazing music scores. Just saying though.

There is a mature-ish game that has these Racers alot like GoGo made by the creators of God of War, Kinetica and so motorized wheels on each hand and ankle wasn't first done in this movie. Oh and just know the game was originally in 2001 and the first GOW games used the engine of the same name to make it so that is just how long it has been since this movie.
