So sweet to see you baby wearing Owen! They grow up so fast. You carry that precious baby as long as you possibly can because one day you won’t be able to. 😢 Hang in there! Love the real life video 👍❤️

My daughter has done much the same as you do here with routines. We BOTH (as well as her husband) are simply amazed how quickly the first year of their daughter’s life has gone by, she just turned one. I am SO happy for you both that you have found someone you have confidence in to care for Owen while you return to work! It can be SO difficult, at least it was for me. Not so for my daughter! Her nanny has been an incredible blessing. She also took on cleaning the bottles, etc. and picks up the house as well before she leaves each evening. She is a real treasure and we ALL just love her. Don’t fret about getting around to the things related to moving in. Remember, you are a new first time Mother. You moved not too long before the birth. You have a side business as well as your job, you cook a GREAT DEAL and you do your own cleaning. I think you have done EXTREMELY well. The IKEA cabinet does look better after organizing, and I would hang on to all those things too! They are expensive and would most likely cost more to replace than they did originally! My pantry is coming along 😊, more OXO coming!! Can’t wait to order my labels. I think I’d like to purchase the smaller Cricut model this year at some point. Something to look forward to 😉Take care Sophie and thank you for this week’s vid!!

Hi Janice! Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment. The time does just fly by and how wonderful that your daughter found such a wonderful nanny to not only take good care of her daughter but also to help out a bit with the house! I keep thanking my nanny over and over again for helping with the bottles and pump parts, I'm not sure if she realizes how much just having that one thing taken care of helps!! I appreciate the kind words, and yes, I need to remember to step back and realize how much I am able to (and have been able to) do every day and since we moved in!

My kids are now almost 4 and 6, Im from Australia, just wanted to say how amazing you are to keep doing all this with such a young bub. I was always so tired and just did bare minimum. Since finding youtube cleaning and organising videos during long melbourne lockdowns I finally got some systems in the house. I found similar pull out containers to you for the laundry and man you changed my life there. So easy to find stuff now. I am technically ahead of you in motherhood journey but you are such an inspiration. Well done!

I NEVER liked washing dishes by hand but I never minded washing the baby bottles etc by hand. Just something about that made me happy 😊 . I put a small plastic container in the sink to contain the small parts until they were washed.

So sweet watching you wear him as you work. So amazing how fast they grow out of clothes. Seems like transaction to work is going well. Glad to see that. Best wishes.

I completely agree with you about having to fold items differently each time you go up a size! Also I had to turn diapers on their side when we switched to size 2 because they didn’t fit in the drawer the way I had previously stored them!! It’s bittersweet watching them grow up!!! ☺️

Sophie, I love your videos. I have unsubscribed to some YT channels (organization??) that are actually a waste of time to watch after watching your channel. One small piece of advice, your time spent with Owen goes by very quickly. Don’t wear yourself out. You are a very conscientious mom but take care of yourself - mentally as well as physically. Your subscribers will understand if you need to slack off a little.

Baby wearing is an interesting concept but you might consider the fact that you aren’t letting him learn to comfort himself when he is sleeping and might awaken. It may be comfy for you but he is more dependent on you. Just sometimes consider.

Does it not hurt her back holding the baby like that? It looks so uncomfortable and a bit unpractical. And how is the baby able to sleep with being hosted around from room to room? So many questions. :D

Why are you folding your baby’s clean clothes on a dirty carpet… carpets are always dirty
