The music in these videos sets me so on edge. But that grey going down on the lab coat was soooooooo satisfying.

1. Who disliked this video? 2. Lizard looks great for using contrast paints! This makes it easy for people who are either intimidated or just aren't confident painters. 3. Sure it takes longer to highlight each scale and some people don't have the time or just want to play with the model. 4. Really liked the added water effect 5. Great job!

I have been stuck on this miniature for months. Been trying to figure out how to do the skin. Was leaning toward a base + wash. I like your contrast paint method much better! Easy to do and much faster.

Just watching your series atm and it is brilliant. I have no intrest in the game myself outside of the models, but I do like Batman Miniatures Game these styles can be sometimes really hard or surprisingly easy to do depending on the look I had a Green Lantren Model and it turned out to be super easy to do but I but tons of different tones in it, lighting effects etc... still turned out to be one of my best models I ever painted and in only a couple of hours (used oil paints as well for parts) I am also printing off some comic style models the style of them is between 90s comics and Marvel Crisis Protocol so little tricks to add to my painting is always much loved :-) thanks again for these great videos.

As always, beautifully done. I have to decide if I want to but this many pots of contrast vs painting all the lizard skin manually. What you did looks great and rather quick, which is what I’m after.

Love the videos! I just had a quick look through to see if you had one on where to start generally when getting paints. I painted 40k about 20 years ago when I was a kid but nothing since. Just got Descent and want up the painting skills with an airbrush, layers and inks. Hard to find articles that don't contradict each other on air brush models or paint sets to get as a starting pack. Would be handy to have a video that covers: Airbrushing pros + cons Makes expensive and cheap to start Airbrush specific paints, do I need them? Airbrush base paints do I need them? Paint thinners, do you need them and how to use them? Good starting paint sets Additional must have colours Random essentials that help

Incredible paint job, enjoying learning from these. One question, are you adding anything to your paints to stop them from drying on the model? Im trying wet blending, but adding water to get that consistency that yours has just thins the paint to have poor coverage.
@Sorastro2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Ben! I find adding a little flow enhancer (I use the Daler Rowney one) really helps the Scalecolor paints behave.. 😀

Magnificent. Looks like I will be investing in contrast paints. One question. How do you choose your highlight colours? For Example. Why did you choose yellow to highlight the purple instead of white?
@Sorastro3 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot Adrian! Well, highlighting just with white increases the values but also desaturates the colour, so I often like to add something else (often yellow) to bring back some luminosity. I also generally like to vary the hue as I move from the shadow tones to the mid tones, then to the highlights to create more beauty and interest. :)
