This is a super small nitpick but I was also curious, and my own quick testing revealed a third boss that doesn't seem to despawn based on distance: Deerclops. I thought of it because it already has weird despawn conditions (since it sticks around through your deaths) and sure enough, it sticks around when you teleport to the ocean

For a pedantic nitpick, here's the pedantic response: I never said that Queen Bee and the ML were the only bosses to not despawn when players are not nearby, I said they're the only bosses to only despawn when all players are dead. Deerclops despawns on a timer and does not care at all whether players are alive or dead.
