i relate to where growing up i always wanted to surf. i only really started a year ago and it’s the hardest but most worthwhile thing ever. surfing is such a challenging sport to learn! it’s mentally and physically exhausting. you take a lot of hits and wipeouts before you ever really get anywhere. but after all the discipline that’s involved, being on a wave is the most rewarding feeling in the whole world. i haven’t found any experience quite as exhilarating.

Nice video! I started surfing again last year at 29 after having stopped for many years due to moving away from the sea and having a punctured ear drum. Couldn't be happier about that decision. Surfing is such an awesome sport! The learning curve can be very steep, but it still so rewarding. Sometimes you go out on a bigger day, fall on a wave and have to wear all of the other set waves on the head. It sucks! And after a few of those, your mindset can shift to a bad place, you loose control over your breathing and start to question your reasons to be there, but being able to regain control over the situation and paddle back out for another wave or simply to sit on the outside admiring the whole scenery is awesome. Sometimes you will also realise that the best thing you can do is to belly ride your board to the beach, sit on the sand and recover, before trying again. It is challenging, but it is surprising how hard it is to erase the memories of your last great wave. Before you know it, your motivation comes back again! Ps: ^¨Under an artic sky¨ is a great movie about surfing and Iceland

Loved this video. Your journey is incredible. I started surfing last year on a spontaneous one week trip to Morocco and got hooked. When I returned to Berlin all I had in mind was the waves and the feeling of the board underneath you. 3 weeks later I returned to the same surf camp for another week. I could just not wait any longer. That was half a year ago. This year at the beginning of march I went on a surfing trip again, this time for two whole weeks, and met up again with some of my new surf friends that got hooked as well. In my city an artificial surf wave opened and I had been stalking that place just hanging out there and surf any time I could. Now with all the corona situation I miss it so much I bought myself a surf skate to practice on pavements. In other words; SORELLE, I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND YOU´R RUSH AND ADRENALIN FOR SURFING! Together with all it´s ups and downs. It´s the only activity in which during I actually had nothing else in mind. Imagine yourself sitting on your board looking out into the horizon, assessing, waiting, concentrated and mentally relaxes as well. Beautiful!! Alright, I stop now. This video just made me want to feel the force of the water under the board again. Which I could subscribe again. Stay save everyone and keep on moving
