I can relate. I have a bad english as well and that makes me feel stupid. I currently working in a call center, I feel small whenever I'm talking to someone over the phone and they cannot understand me. That's why I started to watch english movies everyday when I got home from work so I will be more familiarized with the words, how to contrust correct sentences, and also to improve my listening as I'm still having a hard time to get slang words or sentences.

Hi, this vid is a great inspiration and also encouragement for me, thank you so much! i'm now an English teacher in China (i'm Chinese) and i'm at a pretty advanced level already. My only problem now is that when I speak, i still have to think about it, i still make grammatical mistakes, i keep using the basic vocabulary and sentence structures rather than more accurate expressions. it just can't come out like a natural flow. i really wanna take my English to the next level, to be able to speak like a native, but i sometimes wonder if i could ever achieve that. but seeing what you've achieved, i'm really impressed and motivated. Your English is really really good, the accent doesn't really matter cuz it doesn't affect understanding at all. The content and fluency are just great. I'll def share your vid and your inspiring message with my Ss in class. Thanks again!

The video is really very inspiring.. tqs for motivating me to learn English. I have been learning English since years.. but couldn't able to gain what I expected. For that I'm trying in many ways like I do watch English movies, trying to imitate people who speak fluent English, watching motivational speeches what not. But today.. for the first time I made an attempt to give feedback just bcoz of u and ur motivation. I know.. I somewhere done a mistake in doing so. I guess I made some mistakes in forming sentences. I read this 5times just to check whether I'm right or not. But even then.. I'm not sure about it. So.. can u please correct me. Sorry for my bad English.

Every beginners failed or suck atleast they try, they retrieve next. Struggling for their mistakes others give up. But don't think that one "give up" because if you give up there will be no result for it and will be non-sense. All you have to do is learning , practicing even though your fat, old, young etc. Make sense for yourself don't think or expect that discourage you. :) GOD BLESS!

Hey Engfluent, I have watched your whole video and I have came to a point where i think that the most of the people remain backward in learning English or getting the fluency in English because they don't take rhe initiative which is necessary in the beginning to take. Action is the cause of each and everything which we see in the universe. Without action, nothing prospers. Take action if you're serious enough to learn English. ❤

If you keep doing things that really improve your english, you'll improve. but if you do things that don't improve your english at all, you're not improving your english at all. In order to improve your speaking, you need to practice much listening and reading to get used to English communication way until your comprehension improves a lot, then practice your speaking and keep practicing reading and listening. If you don't do this and keep doing wrong things, you're not gonna succeed in speaking english. You won't understand English and speak it correctly when starting practicing reading and listening, but if you do this for long to get used to english communication way, your comprehension, speaking and writing will improve a lot.
