As an executive chef I'm already wincing at the lack of food safety (and sanitation), regardless of it being Taco Bell. Kush is still on camera and should show he's capable of keeping the food safe. The "sauce" is pure tomato sauce with Caucasian seasoning (garlic salt, onion salt, and pepper). And the selections are odd. Just my opinion, not worth the money. But I feel that way about all chain fast food.

1:54 Fun fact there's an ongoing "war" between two faction in Italy about the single term for Arancini. East Sicily calls them Arancino, where in the west of Sicily is called Arancina. They are the same dish with the same ingredients but with two different shapes (Arancino is pointy, Arancina is round).

It still seems high as I thought most delivery apps only add about 10-15% to the price. Oh, but then I remember hearing that some are starting to add extra fees or an automatic tip so maybe that's where the extra costs are coming from.

I've seen American KZbin channels that have featured Taco Bell and thought that it was so ridiculously cheap that some questionable practices (not paying workers well, poor quality ingredients etc.) must be going on. The UK branch of the business seems to have gone in the opposite direction if that sorry lot cost £45 (even with London prices and delivery charges).

I would love to see Kush do more of these in a similar way to this one. Less added ingredients makes for a bit more of a challenge, plus it keeps the food more pure/traditional. Basically just re-format the old dish into a new fun/cool dish. Like imagine what Kush could do to a full order of Panda Express and just a few basic ingredients, would probably end up looking like fine art and tasting like it as well. 👍🏽😁👍🏽

I've eaten at Taco Bell once. Was pretty hyped considering how popular it is around the world and all. It probably was the last time. I have no clue how it is so popular because the food is so bad. And I'm not even saying this as a "oh fast food is horrible blah blah" no, I eat fast food quite regularly. It was the worst fast food meal I've ever had. Very expensive as well.

I just sat down with the Taco Bell app and put in what I saw in the video. Two crunchy tacos, two bean burritos, and a nachos with cheese. I added a side of jalapeños and a side of seasoned rice to each taco. It's $14.33. At the current conversion rate, that's £11.48. That's a long way from£45. If I've gotten the menu items wrong, that's on me. But it certainly looks like Jaime nearly quadrupled the price in order to dunk on Taco Bell.

Taco Bell is fairly good for a fast food "mexican" joint, but it's better for a cheap drunk food run, or honestly, if you're on a budget and want to get a good chunk of fast food for (relatively) cheap. McDonald's used to be seen as the lower class haven to get a lot of food for cheap, but that went out the window nearly 10+ years ago. Where I live in the north east of USA, Taco Bell is one of the more affordable fast food places.
