Ebbers killed it James was good Mike helped Berry started something that turned out decent but didn’t really ruin anything And Jamie destroyed celeriac, hid Brussels Sprouts, only to make his own cabbage slammed with vinegar that Ben had to save. Instead of adding a stock to cook the celeriac he removed it rendering it inedible and ignored the rest... OH and added bacon which my 5 year old can do. Then proceeded to rate himself almost as good as the chefs. Hahaha 😂 classic Jamie
@BlueGangsta1958
@BlueGangsta1958 3 жыл бұрын
The vinegar in the cabbage wasn't his fault though. At most, you could blame him for not putting some mulled wine next to the pot for later. But really, if Barry had checked on the cabbage, he'd have noticed that it needed some liquid and probably would've gotten something more appropriate than vinegar
@adeen5438

Favorite parts: the fact that Jamie hid the sprouts and Ben found them at the end, Baz cutting off his bell, James at the beginning giggling at being told we voted him "most festive". Ben deserved a friggin 10 out of 10 for his save at the end, you did much more than just "put stuff on a plate" you made an entire new side, saved other sides, made sure everything that someone contributed was on there, made a gravy out of nowhere. Also, Mike, simply because I didn't mention you yet, you were cool too. :) Happy Christmas.

Ben is so under-rated. He embodies the most Christmas spirit in my opinion. He is always patient, calm, and cheerful. In most cases, he is consistently the most talented and capable guy in the kitchen. He was considerate enough to put everybody's effort on the plate, despite knowing that the celeriac wasn't cooked at all. He is the most generous in judging the results: highlighting the positives and overlooking the faults. The more I watch Sorted, the more I see good qualities in Ben that I wish I had. There's something I love so much about Jamie just moving the sprouts away. Doesn't matter that were intended to be part of the dish, he moved 'em because he didn't want them, and I respect that.

Ben is the merriest bc his actions speak louder than his words. He consistently creates a miracle using the few food clues he's given. BTW: When I was growing up it was tradition to have "7 sweets & sours" (such as pickles, pickled cabbage, etc) on holiday, especially at Christmas, so the pickled cabbage seemed completely right on the plate. Reminded me of how much I miss my grandmother's homemade Sweet & Sour Pickles and her Mustard Pickles.
