Ebbers killed it James was good Mike helped Berry started something that turned out decent but didn’t really ruin anything And Jamie destroyed celeriac, hid Brussels Sprouts, only to make his own cabbage slammed with vinegar that Ben had to save. Instead of adding a stock to cook the celeriac he removed it rendering it inedible and ignored the rest... OH and added bacon which my 5 year old can do. Then proceeded to rate himself almost as good as the chefs. Hahaha 😂 classic Jamie
@BlueGangsta19583 жыл бұрын
The vinegar in the cabbage wasn't his fault though. At most, you could blame him for not putting some mulled wine next to the pot for later. But really, if Barry had checked on the cabbage, he'd have noticed that it needed some liquid and probably would've gotten something more appropriate than vinegar
@adeen54385 жыл бұрын
Favorite parts: the fact that Jamie hid the sprouts and Ben found them at the end, Baz cutting off his bell, James at the beginning giggling at being told we voted him "most festive". Ben deserved a friggin 10 out of 10 for his save at the end, you did much more than just "put stuff on a plate" you made an entire new side, saved other sides, made sure everything that someone contributed was on there, made a gravy out of nowhere. Also, Mike, simply because I didn't mention you yet, you were cool too. :) Happy Christmas.

Ben, I love you mate. And I undoubtedly know you were chosen to be the last one to go because we knw you are the only one who can save the end product tbh 😁

I love that Janice tells us the guys will have 'no idea what's going on behind them until it's their turn', as if they get into the kitchen and have any idea whatsoever of what's going on in front of them, let alone what may have happened while they weren't looking.

@emardsly0513 Agreed! I really hope they'll release a react video for this one... Iw anna see their reaction when they realise how much stuff Ben actually got done in 10 minutes (on top of cleaning up the counterspace---don't think I didn't notice, Ben).

new order idea: names in a hat and drawn throughout, so they don't know when their turn will be until a tap on the shoulder

Love Ben’s jumper. Also, I’d like to suggest the order: how much each person talked in the previous pass it on video. You got some real chatty cathys in that group!

Ben gets a 10 from me! I was legitimately amazed that without any carry-on he pulled that kitchen full of shite into a meal . . . it was also SUCH a relief after all that STRESS . . . just the person we all want over at Christmas. Well done mate!

On the "duck might not be Christmas-y" part, in Denmark a whole roast duck is integral in a classic Christmas dinner.

This is a real Christmas special. Begins off happy and good, then it goes downhill for a climaxing everything going wrong. Then, at the end, it recovers in a beautiful, festive conclusion.

It really does impress me how Ben comes in and ties it all together, comes up with a dish, plates it all, and still manages to take moments to talk the audience through his decisions and/or the steps. Possible future theme: SUPER BOWL! Their take on it, at least. Also I would love to see a Cajun/Louisiana theme, especially since they visited NOLA.
