I think it would be great if you did a series on cheap, healthy, student meals. I watch each one of your videos and, although they look delicious, some of the ingredients can either be a bit hard to come by or too expensive. As a student, a few videos with affordable, filling and tasty recipes would be fantastic!

How long have you been watching? Most of their early videos were designed for students (I think they were students themselves at the time), but yeah they have branched out into fancier stuff as of late.
@DearShika9 жыл бұрын
Omg yes that would be so nice ! ^^
@klte19 жыл бұрын
Of course, keeping all of those ideas in mind, don't forget the easy washing up requirement! A lot of students aren't very fond of doing the dishes, so things like one-pot recipes would be great. This recipe, for example, used 3 pans, 2 cutting boards, 2 bowls, and a baking dish, together with some utensils. I'm really liking the idea, but if the Sorted crew would ever get around to doing a 'recipes for students' series, they should not only be simple/cheap, but cooking them also shouldn't create a mess, in my opinion. :D

It's amazing to see what student staples are around the world. Student staples here in the USA are Ramen Noodles, Mac and cheese, Hot dogs, Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches, and pizza. You guys do this comfort-foody goodness at University and it makes me so jealous!

Kira B Not a lot of college kids here have access to ovens or stoves. I am lucky enough to have one now, but back when I was a freshman it would've been nice to be able to cook my own food like this.

Kira B Netherlands. The uni doesn't even have dorms, there's corporations you have to go to. I have a small oven and electric stove but only because I wanted them so provided them myself.

The sugar helps cut the acid from the tomatoes. I was beginning to have a problem with acid tummy when eating spaghetti or anything heavy on cooked tomatoes until a Chef friend told me about this fix. It doesn’t change the flavor by using just a teaspoon or so.

Love your videos! I've been binge watching all the Sorted stuff for the past week or so, and while it's fun, I have to say there's one little thing that's really been bothering me. Stop putting raw meat on your wooden cutting boards! Ben, you're smart. You know better! I realize it's just for a video, but not everyone knows their food safety and someone might copy you! I've caught ya'll doing it a couple of times, and then cutting raw items on the same board afterward. Please don't get yourselves sick. That would make everyone unhappy. :(
