@@skelitonking117 I mean, yes and no; I have read the manga up to basically the final arc (Haven't had time to catch up with the apparent final battle lately), and I can say that Kikoru blatantly DOES have a crush on Kafka, the thing is that not only it's completely one-sided (He never has looked away from Mina) and he sees her like a great friend at best, she also doesn't really pursue it, so their relationship is entirely platonic as far as Canon goes and both are clearly perfectly fine with it. However, the main reason the 'ship' exists at all amongst the manga fandom is because Kikoru's character is actually awesome and gets as much growth and development onscreen as Kafka does, and almost everyone agree they have better chemistry as characters than he does with Mina, and Mina's character completely stagnated for like 80% of the series, to the point many readers really felt like she didn't deserve to be right beside Kafka fighting the final boss despite that having been the original goal stated in the series (As we have seen in the S1 anime).

I like that you two recognized the wyvern armored body. I can't wait for your reactions to 9+10 as a 2 parter. Remember that Mina is at headquarters. it's a detail, so many forget during the next episodes high energy. Your iron man idea is a very good line of thought. I can't wait tonsee how much of the manga season 2 covers, I love how deeply you two think about major concepts and plot threads. Man the vice captain is a well fleshed out badass now

All of them are adults. Shinomiya is 18-19 (she can't drink because the drinking age is 20), while Kafka is 32, and everybody else is somewhere in between them. Also, honestly, if Kafka were trying to go for the kill, he would have turned the vice captain into vapor. He is STRONG (they use the same scale as earthquakes, so 9.8 is approaching the theoretical limit of 10.0) and one solid hit is enough to kill any human not wearing a numbered Kaiju weapon.
