Hehe, this episode raised a lot of questions for me. Clearly Darkness and Megumin have some feelings for Kazuma despite all the quirkiness in their relationships, they looked like they REALLY wanted him back. Aqua was a bit harder to read, but to me she seems to be more in the "Kazuma's source of troubles" department. And what about Eris? She got any feels or just embarassed by Kazuma's attention? Also, this episode seemed like another big example of Kazuma having REALLY bad luck, with the sniped lizard hitting the tree and Kazuma falling to his death. So what is that Luck stat of his doing? Is this all leading to something really great in some twisted chain of events or is Kazuma's pessimism justified? At this point, has Kazuma become friends with Vanir, with their business deal and everything? He's clearly befriended the lich girl. So, will we see Kazuma befriending the entire evil side?

Totes harem but I just don't care XD Personally, I'm predicting that Eris is a trap character. As for Aqua, I think she's just to make fun of the whole idea of the "main love interest" that is usually super clumsy or a tsundere.

And yet Darkness gave him quite an interesting blushed look at the end of this episode, when they returned home. Although that might've been because of something she did to his corpse. :P

Darkness's feelings are very complicated. Its more masochism, than actual feelings Aqua's the parody of the 'first girl is the love interest.' Eris is just really nice and is complicated, like Darkness. Kazuma's luck is balanced by his party's bad luck. It shows his luck in the Party swap and other moments. Vanir just wants to do what he wants to do and he wants money.

That ''bad'' animation of Aqua whinnign is my favourite thing ever, so much diffrent expression, it may not be fluid but it just looks soooo great, I'd consider it actualy great animation, just for the varied expressions alone!

I'm sad that you had to cut out the part of the lizard quest where Megumin tried to cast her explosion magic but couldn't, because Kazuma had used Drain Touch earlier on her from under the Kotatsu to fight her off. One of the best things about Konosuba is that jokes have consequences later on in the story. Absolutely loved that part. -- Nvm, you talked about this later on. Still sad that the scene was missing in the video haha. Oh and Chunchunmaru & the holy sword excalibur were fantastic as well. Probably one of my favorite episodes :D Oh and I'm kinda sad you cut out Aqua's rage moment. You talked about it after the episode that the quality dropped there, but personally it was some of the best animation Konosuba has. Her facial expressions were so unique and every frame was new. It used the basics of animation perfectly and let the animators go crazy. I really enjoy your reaction videos. You watch with a keen eye and seem to have a lot of fun doing them :)

Thought I'd give an actual recommendation for Assassination classroom this time. Honestly it's one of my favorite anime series, variety and unique'ness (Totally a word) is basically the main things I look for in an anime, and this has it in spades. Plus it has a great first episode which introduces you to the concept nicely. Random assassination classroom recommendation aside. Friday Boku no hero episode hype.

i guess im way too late for this but here is the explanation for Vanir: As a duke of hell, he is basically immortal. When he gets "killed" his soul just returns back to hell. However, he still has "lives" which ensure that after his body dies he can return back from hell. If he runs out of lives, he is stuck in hell unless there are some methods that give him some new lives. So he died in the last episode. this is his second body with his second live.
