━━━━━━━━⚫━━━━━━━━
🔹Context:
Shinji then goes into the air to fight Aizen, who remarks on how much trust Shinji has in Ichigo, but Shinji tells him he wouldn't understand since he never trusts his own comrades. Aizen tells him that believing in others is something the weak do, which he has no need for, but Shinji tells him that this seems hypocritical, since he has so many subordinates and he comes to the conclusion that Aizen must have talked them into trusting him. However, Aizen tells him that he never asked for his subordinates to trust him, only to follow him, but then remarks that there aren't many who can actually do that. Aizen then states that living creatures can't survive unless they put their faith in someone superior, and that superior person then looks for someone even more superior than them, and that this goes on to the most powerful beings. Thus, Aizen states, the King of All was born and God was born. Aizen then tells Shinji not to believe in him yet, as he will first show him the power of this god, so he can choose what to believe in.

🔹About Sosuke Aizen:
Sōsuke Aizen (藍染 惣右介, Aizen Sōsuke) is the former captain of the 5th Division in the Gotei 13. He later leaves Soul Society with his followers, Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tōsen. His lieutenant was Momo Hinamori. He formerly served as the lieutenant of the 5th Division under Shinji Hirako. After waging war against Soul Society with an army of Arrancar, Aizen was defeated by Ichigo Kurosaki and sealed away by Kisuke Urahara, and then imprisoned for his crimes.

One of Aizen's most defining moments. This, combined with his "reaching higher" speech, paint the picture of a man intent on pushing himself as far as possible. The truest form of individualist is the man who stands utterly alone. Even Ichigo says Aizen felt alone. But it was that loneliness that pushed Aizen forward, to see how far he could truly go. Replacing the Soul King was just the next step on that path for him.

I just LOVED his portrayal of Aizen. He does such a remarkable job of taking out the pacifism of DBZ's Gohan and replaces it with "I'm going to kick your ass, but first, I'm going to go on an awe inspiring monologue," vibe. When TYBW is dubbed, I hope he revises his role as Aizen because there is just no one else that can do it.

Aizen did not underestimate or fail the Hogyoku, he was temporarily using a bare minimum of his true desire and power. Everyone thought he attained the Hogyoku to gain power, which is correct, but not entirely with his aspirations. The Hogyoku follows the users greatest desire, what is in their heart, Aizen wanted to fight someone fairly on his level or above, and truly know defeat and his heart didn't want to go all out and destroy Mugen Ichigo at the time, as the Hogyoku did have such power. Even now, Aizen is alive and is way, way stronger then he was fighting Ichigo, because now he wants the power to destroy once more.

More Aizen personal philosophy on individualism. More broadly, however, it damns the idea of Soul Society's "god" -- the Soul King. Aizen is basically saying: I do not rely on anyone and have the strength and wisdom to back it up; that makes me god-like, because I do not look for some-one higher than me. "I will stand at the top..." Aizen said.

Oh, I see now. When Ichigo defeated Aizen and Urahara sealed him away, Ichigo talked about how lonely Aizen felt because he was always the most superior soul reaper. Like he said, all living things, on some level, desire a superior to lead them. To lessen their burden. Aizen, as someone who had no superior, was burdened by his superiority so giving up on finding his equal, he decided to become a god.

Now that I think about it, that’s probably why he treated Momo, so horribly. Momo was often praised at being among the best at using kido and was strong enough to become a lieutenant and could’ve become a captain event, but she was content being second to Aizen, her captain. Aizen, who perhaps wanted an equal, despised her, and anyone content with being below him, so he betrayed her because she would never try to be his equal. I may have got a point or two wrong, but I believe that was the gist of it

Aizen was right when he said he never asked anybody for their trust. Whenever they showed him basically recruiting the espada (the few they did show) besides barragan cause that was a whole other thing they all chose for themselves to follow him. He asked them to join him but never once asked them to trust him. The biggest problem with Shinji pointed out about him surrounding himself with henchmen was that you can be surrounded by people but that doesnt automatically mean that you trust those people. Aizen knew about it. He said that he literally planned Ichigo to fight him and make his hollowication even stronger. Besides that he is the one that gives them power with the Hogyouku. As we can see Stark became an arrancar on his own and he didn't had his powers Aizen was the one who gave them to him and Lilinette. Same thing with Ulquiorra and Yammy who also had second resurrection or maybe infinite number of them cuz he was designed to be perfect opponent for Kenpachi who has unlimited reiatsu and Yammys grows with his rage so maybe he could've transformed many more times. As much as I hate Yammy you can't take it away from him being the strongest. Even databook says that he has the highest reiatsu, the strongest Cero and he's the strongest by brute force.

@@tatakaw Agreed, even though Aizen clearly knew it for himself the fact of the matter is that Ulquiorra who is one of the smartest characters in the series was completely convinced that Aizen did not know of his hidden power. I mean it makes sense why Ulquiorra assumed his secret was well kept since Ulquiorra is also a natural arrancar who probably didn't have any power bestowed upon him much like in the case of Coyote Starrk. Funnily enough that also has some interesting implications for how high of a ranking Ulquiorra would have if his secret was plain knowledge. He'd most likely rank above even a beast like Yammy.

True, even though they didn't know whether their God/gods exist or not, they will blindly say God/gods is/are real and placed their trust just because the books said so. I mean they're a lot of people blindly believe that they can go to heaven even though they never know it exist. They're just trying to find superior being just to place their trust to comfort themselves and misfortune, said to themselves it was god's will, so that they can move forward.

Yea, I still think Aizen planned for Ichigo to weaken him to an extent so that the Hogyoku wouldn't accept him as master. I mean it may be a part of a bigger picture that we don't know about yet. Though we have no solid evidence yet to tell us what's going through Aizen's mind. I hope that this information will be revealed at a point and if not then it would still make him seem like one of the most cold and calculated anime villains up to date.

It's kind of ironic, isn't it? Now that I think about it, even though Aizen's whole MO was based on deception, controlling people's perceptions of him, and (seemingly) wanting to place himself as the highest in the heavens, he never actually told anyone that they should believe in what he says. He said it himself: no one who works for him trusts him, and he in turn told them never to trust anyone, as he believed trust to be a weakness. Aizen himself thought his way and his methods to be best, that only he was right in the end, but he never actually tried to convince anyone else of that, right? He used his words to sway people just to set them in place to fulfill his aims, but he never actually tried to alter their beliefs or opinions. He didn't give a damn about anyone else's thoughts, and at the same time, he never gave a damn on how anyone ever thought of him. It almost sounds...strangely noble, considering who Aizen is. He let everyone around him believe what they wanted, as long as their actions could fit into his plans, those plans being to usurp the heavens and see how far he could take the power of his soul. His powers - at the start, anyway - were built around illusion, but he never tried to really compromise anyone's free will, at least directly (the whole Orihime situation being a thing). Of course, this is just my thoughts on it, and it seems like Kubo might never explain Aizen's true thoughts even a little, and I haven't seen very much of Bleach at all, so...I might be wrong here.

[ADVICE] MY-PHILOSOPHY: "INNER-STRENGTH" I have found that simply "loving myself" (inner-child) is a powerful tool against most types of social-dependency/vulnerability. Example: In my mind, I visualise a picture of my younger self (family albums might help). And I 'remember' what the emotion of genuine love felt like. And then I project those emotions onto the mental visualization of my younger self. I meditate and hold that 'state of mind' for as long as I can. The result? I feel my conscious energy resignating with positivity and renewed strength. And my anxiety immediately evaporates away. At the very least, depending on my levels of anxiety, this mediation practice aids to 'evaporate' much of it. You can do the same thing with "trying to 'remember' temperatures, e.g. hot or cold. And then project that memory onto a visualised heat source (all within your minds eye). You will 'feel' the effects immediately." I hope this proved helpful.

Aizen here actually explains why Ichgo felt his loneliness, He can't trust anyone or let anyone trust him. That is why he failed in the end. He said "no one can survive without trust" and he was right. If he did gave his trust to his subordinates. They were more powerful and deadly he wasted each one of their potential by someway betraying them. Maybe deep down he wasn't able to trust those subordinates.
@bling0holic
@bling0holic 7 ай бұрын
Imo, it's part of a great writing, if or if it wasn't intended by Kubo himself. Personally, Stark is the best representation of that ideology as he was lonely from the start from being too powerful thus creating Lilinette so Stark would have somebody. Then he joined the Espada hoping to have some more like minded and friendly group, even if the other Espadas had their own agenda, belonging to a group is better than being alone. Stark's downfall could be seen as a way of, as what you've mentioned, of Aizen's trust to his Espada, literally wasting their potential because even if Hollows/Espadas look and act human enough, in lore wise, they are an aspect of sins/emotions, and even they, Stark in this case, knows that he was being used and not being cared about. As the strongest Vasto Lorde (for being #1 Espada), once he lost, it's probably, at least in my head canon, that Aizen was disappointed that someone like Stark, who can at least understand the loneliness Aizen felt, could understand Aizen and be strong himself. Similarly, to Tosen, from the information of the LNs (and I didn't read it, but just briefly seen others who have, talked about how Aizen reveres Tosen's ideology of becoming stronger and destroying the corruption that Soul Society and the worlds is built upon.. something to that effect xD), as Tosen wanted Power to pave the way of justice he envisioned, parallel to Aizen's transcendence past godhood to pave the way of a world he envisioned. There's so many motifs, themes, and what-not to extract from Bleach's deeper moments, personally, why Bleach is my favorite anime and Kubo for a JP mangaka that can actually write at least a good and thoughtful story beyond the surface value, barring health issues and all. And of course, all of this and how I interpret the deeper moments in my own way!

Aizen’s plan was always futile. Aizen would have absolute power as Soul King, but he would merely be the linchpin that holds all realities and dimensions we know of together. That is no ruler. That is a figurehead established to literally keep things from falling apart at the seams. Maybe he made the assumption he could surpass that and keep the realities as well as his power autonomous and not directed towards maintaining all of creation.? I doubt it.

The soul king was only sealed by the Nobel soul reapers who feared he would threaten their power. Aizen planned on actively maintaining the worlds while unsealed, sacrificing his own livelihood for a true perfect world. Aizens goals were just Yhwach but less bloody.
