Sotha Sil: "Vivec knows the boundaries that separate fact from fiction. He knows them so well that's he's learned how to break them. He exists inside his verse, but recognizes the lies. The contradictions.He both does, and does not believe his own tales." It makes one wonder what parts of Vivec's stories are true, what parts are lies, and what parts have been turned from lies to truth through his use of divinity.

I believe that all these contradictions and seeming lies are simultaneously truth and fiction. Vivec both did and didn't help murder Nerevar. His two-sided nature and his divinity allows this. He is both the friend to Nerevar who watched him die at Red Mountain, and the traitor who murdered him. While before his ascension only one may have been true, afterwards all realities became truth.

@@TheRealMycanthrope comes from the word "flesh" in Greek, and is a reference to Vivvek being a living god, and is a play on the term "Flesh Divinities" which is occasionally used in TES lore to refer to the bodies of gods, particularly Lorkhan's.

I assumed that homunculi was referring to Factotums. Some define homunculi as artificial humans created outside of traditional biological procreation. To me this sounds like the Clockwork God's Factotums - mechanical constructs created in the shape of men/mer. Therefore, Sotha Sil used the Factotums as a force to rescue Vevic's mother from the underwater creatures.

The term homunculi actually initially referred to semen, and specifically sperm though it wasn’t known at the time how it worked so sperm were likely inseparable from semen. It was believed that the ‘humonculi’, or the little humans, were planted within a woman to grow.

As much as I love the FudgeMuppet-style ambient footage as a visual filler for your narration, this kind of analysis would ~really~ benefit from a bit of text on the screen as you're reading, especially in the latter section when you annnotate & explain. I have a slight idea about what’s going on but it’s hard to focus and even read them because I to can feel the sanity leaking out of my brain every time I go live. I’m glad you’ve finally started this series and good luck! Lots of content to get through, but at least it’s a good outline and plan to commit to for 35+ videos. Honestly never looked into this before but it’s fascinating that ESO actually used the demiprince and the barons from this sermon in the Maelstrom arena. Definitely thought that kind of stuff was just made up 😂

13:34 , the number depends on how many branches the tree has , because birds bones are hollow and weigh very light , but all creatures need space and even though you scientifically can fit more birds on a tree then any mammal, doesn't mean that's how it works in nirn , life needs space to grow, and there can be 1 or many but its about the nurture that is given that produces stronger life.
