The cgi forms that you are referring to are called Wild forms

Lightning Jungles Wild form is designed to mimic a Mechanical Tree with eletrical wires for vines, Much like how New York is called the "Concrete Jungle" And The helmet for Mechanikani (the crab) While not the best design... Is designed to wedge the antenna between the groves of bottom of the skirt , with the Jaw of the helmet slipping into a similar (abiet shallow...) Groove. Annoying but it's usually enough friction to hold it there Finally Electric Jungle Wild mode is the most annoying, but basically its not a hard lock either, you essentially feed the driver into the box like gap formed by the sides of the knee's , The parts loop around holding it up and not letting it fall backwards, just strong enough to support the weight (and show accurate) Honestly they could have designed much better friction points and or peg and sockets for these toys .
