The impressive part about the first opening's "camera movement" was that the environment was completely hand drawn as opposed to using 3D. Making that sequence was definitely some animator's worst nightmare 😂

Man, that long-take scenes from first opening is still one of the best to this day in my opinion. when it comes to art direction and aesthetic from studio bones, Soul eater is still one of my favorite along side with old FMA and Space dandy

Soul Eater is a AMAZING manga, but the anime only adapts said manga up to half it's run time, the rest being filler (Like Fullmetal 2003), and unfortunately, not nearly as good. So the first about 25 episodes are incredible, but after that not so much, I'd recommend switching to the manga, which stays great until the end.
