Wow, I was 12yrs old, we had a black and white tv and it was more than GREAT to see BLACK people in Prime time for an hour. That was more than rare, it was a POSITIVE shot to the SOUL. And we killed it! Integration was changing the landscape across the country and we were feeling that change had finally come. To see an hour of black people on TV was FANTASTICE and SOUL lifting. Especially for the elders, who had endured the most hardship of their life before change came in this way. Yeah, it was a black version of LAUGH-IN, but it had SOUL, from a SOULFUL people. I LOVE BEING BLACK! ✌🏿✌🏿🤎🤎✊🏿✊🏿

I remember seeing Hines, Hines, and Dad on another TV show when I was little, and I also recognized Anazette Chase, Judy Pace, Chelsea Brown, and Renn Woods, the little girl who sang lead on "Tell Mama". @@John60s70s Yes, this will be remastered, which preserves it and improves the picture quality. Unfortunately, these days the cost of producing DVDs would not make it worth it, as we would not sell enough. So we will offer it for digital purchase.
