Thank you. I was there for 1989 and people were a lot more free with their dance expression - not synchronized or choreographed so much. I like seeing other people just feel it too.

MAJ. I feel bad for you youngsters today. I really do. The 80s and 90s were PHENOMENAL! We danced our Hearts out! It was so FUN! 💃💃💃

I jammed out to this all the time!!! As long as you hit the beat, every dance works!

You probably heard a piece of the song somewhere or heard someone sing it on tv. React to their other U.S. hit "Keep on Movin'".

Non of us did the Robot! Back in 89 on the dancefloor, rooftop party, cookout, we were ' freestylin' like these performers and dancers, partygoers in this video. Do your thang!

@maj! This is one heck of a jam. Thanks for reacting to this! You probably heard it a long time ago somewhere and it stayed in your subconscious. Our minds store alot of information and music has a major influence in our moods and actions... Check the girl group Jade - "Don't walk away" from 1992. Has a similar vibe

@@MAJreactions One of the best movies from that time period. Had Nas and DMX starring and Dr Ben Chavis and an all-star cast. The soundtrack was dope.

The infectious instrumental, her powerful voice... but mainly the High Vibration infused in this track is Timeless. I was in college when this song dropped... it instilled in me such a sense of pride. I find it so hard to articulate what this song meant to me. Such a beautiful period of time. When the worlds standard of beauty was so different than what you see here... this black girl... I needed this affirmation, Uplifting song. This song set me free. Thanks for reacting to it ❤.

I feel some dancers now dance as if they are fighting the beat/rhythm/groove of the song. I'm thinking what's the rush.

What you said about people hearing music different is summed up in this video everyone is doing their own thing to the same jam, the beat just drives whatever you want it to do to you, banging Choon and Soul II Soul are the Best of British + Karen Wheelers voice!!

Great reaction. It’s fun to hear your full opinion on it musically as well as how people would move to it. Try Snap and The Power when you get a chance 😉

In the 80's we got on the floor and freestyle. Some were better than others but no one cared.
