Skating has given me a super power. I'm so new but getting so good w every practice and skate session. I feel so empowered every time I master something new. It's like flying and I never wanna come down. Gives me goose bumps writing this

I'm here from Toronto, 10th generation African Canadian ..... not many of us but sooo glad to have this forum of social media to not feel alone, especially during covid lockdown. Thank you for reminding the rest it's not a fad but a cultural experience all can join but respect and acknowledgement is due. I felt so alone until now...kinda upset when my non African American/ Canadian friends credited Farah Fawcett 🙄. One day i'll be able to return to see my American family and the community and not feel alone. Soon, I hope I'll be back to my cousin's and brother's and sister's to the South. Thank you for keeping it real and keeping us in the north company and educated xo

This video put a big smile on my face. I grew up in the Bronx in the 70's and my favorite place to skate as a kid was Skate Key. When I had children, We went skating almost every weekend. Loved going to the Central Park Circle. Going to get me some skates and and see if I still got it, looking at some of these skate meets on KZbin and I would love to attend some. lol. Thank you for the video. God bless 91 year old lady. That was inspiring.

Was a rink rat myself bk in the day. My home rink is closed and gone forever now Skakeland in Woodhaven mi. But would float around to rinks I've been to skateland west, Bonaventure, University was in pontiac I believe, river side, Fantasia closed and now a animal hospital there was one in belleville mi don't remember the name but it had a really nice wood floor. Then inline skates happened I straped them on and explored all over.

She is absolutely gorgeous and she looks so young. The other young lady with her is 81. So a 91 and 81 year old. They may be a year or so older from the last videos I saw but either way they are in their 80s and 90s. ❤❤
