Just what I was looking for lol. Awesome guide bro! Just started messing around with him last night. I absolutely love the amount of detail Project Soul did with him. He's even got this Samsho throw combos lol. So hard balancing time between this and P5R.

Thanks bro! Yeah, I was impressed with how well Project Soul translated Haohmaru from SamSho to SCVI. I like how he still feels like a "SoulCalibur" character, unlike Akuma whom basically feels like he's playing SF4 in T7.

I was the top ps4 haohmaru since relase currently secons and iv found a few more secrets about him...game changers infact. You have 4 alternatives not 3 for the special moves and they can be performed on more attacks also found out why he glows and why.and how its all linked

you can mash literally any button to complete the 14 hit combo, although it'll do the minimum damage (about 45, i believe), so if you're a scrub like me you can still do it

Yup, that's perfectly fine, especially if you just want the Max Rage mode. (Though of course if you hit each Just Frame, you'll get a lot more damage).

What's the actual advantage, if any, to special mids and lows? Did the developers just think it'd be too powerful to give him those extra low options?

2A is NH +6. 2B is NH +2. 6K is NH -2 (which is terrible for a standing Special Low). I think that Project Soul doesn't want Haohmaru to be a close range fighter, so his close range moves are just pokes/interrupts mostly.

typically they are implemented in the NamcoBandai fighters as a soft way to make, otherwise ridiculous, moves reasonably balanced. In Viola's orbs in SCV were all Special Mid/Lows, and Tekken's 2A equivalent (d1/dickjabs) are specials and therefor Low-parryable.

That's either a Guard Break or a Guard Crush.

when your low health (below the on line in the bar, hold Back and R2, like your activating soul charge. But hold it longer then you normally would

Press START, go to CONTROLS; then I have it set up like this: A = X/Square, B = Y/Triangle, K = B/O G = A/X.
