Theory about Soulcorp: In the teaching Tobias video, there are multiple hints leading up to the ending. One of which being how quickly he selected his name, and at the end we can see a missing poster for someone named "Tobias". This suggests that the name was decided consciously, not randomly. One of the things he says is "do you know why my soul was deemed suitable for experimentation?" and in this video, some of the jokes that appear in the listing say "set us free". So here's my conclusion: Soulcorp is killing people and using the spectrephone to restore the souls and put them inside robots for profit. The robots are not "learning" to be sentient, they ARE sentient.

Xploshi, this is one of the highest quality short films I have ever seen. I am so excited for more things about Tobias. Don’t get me wrong, this episode with Botm was great and I really like Botm’s concept, the idea of many souls being trapped inside and Soulcorp actyally dialling back the sentience so they are even more confined and trapped together inside, forced to work as a clown robot with little to no ways of breaking free in terms of contacting other people. It’s a scary idea, and Xploshi did a fabulous job with executing it! But as I said, that ending with Tobias was REALLY something for how short it was, something people are saying is how Tobias essentially “has a friend now” and yeah, I get that, but do any you guys want to talk about how TOBIAS GOT HIMSELF BACK TOGETHER???? Tobias was literally disassembled, even his mask was off on the ground in his episode at the end, how is he up and running again? As MUCH as I want to see Tobias team up with / help Botm, and trust me I do, I can’t help but think about what I just said and wonder, Tobias is noticeably very _slow_ at the end, his wheels seemingly outdated in technology compared to Botm’s “mobility sphere”… Will Tobias rip the mobility sphere out from Botm, leave them stranded and unable to move in that alleyway, while Tobias uses his new upgrade? It’s food for thought!

I do think that scrapping BOTM would be something that Tobias would do. However, I also wouldn't put it past him to attempt to take BOTM's insides and add them to himself, leading to BOTM becoming a part of Tobias.
