Soulflower Plant Spirit Oracle | First Impressions Walkthrough

This is an Indie gone MM. I have the Indie version. There is a community for people who use the deck and we do in depth studies with each plant. The indie version comes in a nice easy to open tuck box but the guide book is larger and had a lot of full color illustrations. the chart is still black and white but the full page so easy to reference. I cant speak to the difference in cardstock other that in the indie there was no bowing. As for usage, I engoybusing ot on its own as an oracle, meditation tool as opposed to paired with tarot or other oracles.

I mostly use it on its own, too. I love the deck but it doesn’t work with any of my tarot decks.

I currently have the Seed & Sickle Oracle as well as the mini Rockpool Language of Flowers Oracle both of which I loveeeee …but! I will say that aster card hit really spot on for me today and it’s definitely charming me. Not sure if I need three, but I doooo love it! So maybe 😂

I just picked up the indie version of this locally. I saw it in your Hot Takes video and knew I wanted it, which was confirmed when I saw it was printed locally (Maine!) AND the creator lives just two towns away from me! I’m picky about backs and love these; my only complaint is that my version didn’t come with a guide book. All in all I’m super glad to have it, and really happy I found the indie version before I bought mass market.

I'm kind of bummed that I don't have the guidebook with mine. I did email the creator and ask if there was any way to purchase the book or even a pdf.

Milk thistle is a species of thistle. It’s pretty common in a lot of places. It’s got white (milky) veins in the leaves and possible medicinal uses. And the rose looks like a wild rose.

This timing was ironic . I just ordered the Botanical Inspirations today after being on my wishlist forever. The Soulflower is beautiful but it doesn't call to me at least not at this time. Thank you for posting .

Definitely love this type of artwork. I'm not remotely interested in gardening but I am always drawn to how pretty flowers are haha. I need to take some time to pause the video on more of the cards to see the descriptions and associations. :)

The Soulflower Plant Spirit Oracle Deck - the indie deck - was one of my first oracle decks and my favorite flower deck. I love flowers. I just ordered this deck with the magnetic box. The indie deck has a tucked box and I do not like tucked boxes. I also have the Botanical Inspirations Deck and I love both these decks for the flowers.

I do plan on picking this one up. I would most likely use it on my work desk and draw a card daily or for support.

That's good news, this oracle came out several years ago but shipping makes it difficult for people living outside the US to buy. 🌼💖

It is a very pretty deck. I’m thinking this would be a good witchy deck. Personally, back’s don’t make or break a deck for me but I get what you are saying. I wonder if you take one of each color and arrange them in such a way they would be the artwork inside the box? Soooo curious about this. Just looks like they “cut up” the original. 💗💜💙🌻

The artwork on this deck is so pretty and I like the way the messages are worded. I don’t own any Oracle decks, only tarot. I think I’m looking for a Oracle deck that is balanced like the Rws system….

I love the art on this one. I've low key had my eye on it for years, but as an indie it was not as accessible for me. I love the colour range in the back, I'm surprised this is such an obstacle for you. Not on my A-list but still would not be opposed to having it.

I've had the indie version for a few years, but no guidebook. There was enough info on the front for me. I could never figure out any system with the backs. This looks exactly the same as the indie version expect the tuck box is smaller and no guidebook.

"scientific name" and "latin name" are both super correct but maybe the term you were looking for was "binomial name"?
