He wasn't interested, and he maintains Crane and Kauffman took the concept and ran with it. In any event, they started developing Friends in 1993. They couldn't rip off Living Single as a concept.

That's what was said, but she hadn't gained weight yet. So, that's bull. I was told that it had to do with Keenan Wayans trying to get with her, but she refused. And, that the brothers wanted to make their sister Kim the female star. But, it all worked out for her. She and John Henton were so good and convincing together, much like Isabel Sanford and Sherman Helmsley.

I must have forgotten Kim fields on GOOD TIMES though I do remember that HER mother, Chip Fields, played the role of the abusive mother of Penny (Janet Jackson). I do not recall Kim Fields on Good Times, plus she had her own show. And LIVING SINGLE was a successful show before FRIENDS came on the scene.

Kim’s biological Mom, that did more two episodes on Good Times ended up being Penny’s (Janet Jackson) abusive Mom. Kim Fields actually got her biggest break on “Facts of Life” TV sitcom show. Back in the late 1970’s. Facts of Life show was only popular to young girls who were going to “Private Boarding Schools “whose parents that could afford to send their children to a Boarding School “. For the final episode, If I remember correctly, due to fear of being lonely with everyone going their separate ways, Sinclair snapped and in the first person view showed the cast being taken out 1 by 1 for the final episode and then it abruptly went off. No to be continued, no somebody waking up from a bad dream or anything, it just went off. That's what I remember.

It's so disappointing to watch videos like this with "Clickbait" titles. I'm a fan of the cast of Living Single, and I would have watched this very well made video without a clickbait title about a mystery that was never revealed. It makes me NOT want to watch videos that are suggested to me from this channel from KZbin. I'll give it one more try IF the title matches the video. Otherwise, I will avoid this channel and encourage others to do the same. I hope the creators read this and.know that they are making great content but are losing viewers and subscribers unnecessarily because of tricky titles.
