Thanks for inviting us into your home, it all looks amazing! I know my crockpot saves my Sundays; they are an amazing tool that every kitchen needs. I pray your sister is doing well in recovery. God bless from the West coast of Canada.

This video is the best yet. One thing about these videos its a real cooking show with real family. People complain about little things, i promise you on any food tv show the final product you see has been doctored up so much its no longer real. Some people have a true gift and do not need celebrity, this would be soulfult. It reminds me of my family on Sundays.

My mama takes some of the juice from the roast, makes gravy and adds it back to the pot. It thickens the juice and it sticks to your mashed potato or rice, the carrots, the potatoes, etc.. And yes, you fry the onion in butter before sweating it. Not oil. Lol.. My granny used salt joe in her fried cabbage sometimes. And we need at least 2 or 3 heads bc ill bust dead on a whole head myself. Everybody loves cabbage. Lmao! Yummmmmmm

wow! I never seen it cooked this way, I sear my roast on both sides in a lil oil on top of the stove first before I put in crock pot, that locks that seasoning in and I definitely would of used more seasoning on those thick cuts of meat it may seem like a lot but it takes alot and I use Lipton onion soup mix in mine and used half of that water because the crock pot creates water when you cook in it and you really dont need alot of water and it washes down your seasonings. but I loved watching a different way of doing it! and with the Cabbage I start my pot with cut up bacon and onions and fresh garlic and then add the cabbage and seasonings, lemon pepper taste good in it as well. I wish your Sister well with her surgery. Love you T you sooooooo sweet

I bake Mine! Cut it up put in it big roasting pan and add olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper and soul seasoning, chopped bacon,an onion cut up and sometimes sausage. Cover with tin foil and bake on 350 for about 1 hour stirring about half way! It's easy because you can throw it in there and not have to worry about to much while your cooking your other foods.

Never saw two pot roasts in one slow cooker -- or so much flour put on each. Wow. I'm surprised that there's not a lot of thicker flour gravy. This whole dinner is out of this world. More butter in the cabbage, oh yes. Hope your sister's surgery goes well. There are medical advances that verge on miraculous. I know personally. Best Wishes.
