It brings tears to the eye to see The RZA,Large Pro,Redman,Saafir,Too Short,De La,Scarface and others showing love to the SOM. It's a beautiful thing when we celebrate our own.

@Marshall Mathers Many more too. You'd have to take notes throughout the whole video to catch them all. Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Phife Dawg, the turntablist dudes, Quest Love did a cool quick shootout and drew the third eye logo in the air with his fingers. Murs and Sunspot Jonz from Living Legends, can't remember any more without watching again but I felt the same, just so awesome to see them getting props from everyone coast to coast, mainstream/indie whatever.

Nas, WU-Tang, Big L, Lords of The Underground, Digable Planets, SOM, B.D.P, Naughty By Nature, Rakim, B.I.G, Tupac, OutKast, E-40, this is a small representation of early 90’s diversity just in the hip-hop rap that was evolving so fast. A different style from everywhere that made it so much better. Listen to those artist now just brings me back to those days in the hardbody 92 Nissan truck getting chased out of the parking lot from pounding beats for blocks

90’s Hip hop is just amazing. It was so real and passionate back then. When I hear some real dope rhymes and boom bap beats it’s nothing but goosebumps for me.. I was born in ‘93. Always said I was born 20 years late. I got 93 til infinity from the album booklet tatted on my arm. No mans land was dope too and way underrated. They don’t have any bad tracks. True MC’s. So glad this was created. Learned A lot, didn’t know about Dels connection with Ice Cube, & the connection with The AMW crew. Awesome!!!! I wasn't even born when 93 Til... Dropped - Nevertheless, it is one of my top 5 records. PERIOD. That record means the world to me. My girlfriend bought me this album on Vinyl and it's one of my most prized possessions. Growing up and going to school in the 00's/2010's meant growing up around kids following the mindless garbage that trends without having any substance. SOM always felt like big brothers to me, shielding me from garbage I heard on the radio, saw on TV and heard around school and amongst my friends. It was almost impossible to get caught up on these fads and bullshit when I was so enthralled and captivated by these guys. I heard 93 Til (title track) and it blew my mind. I heard 'Limitations' and then 'Live and Let Live' when it became clear to me that I couldn't listen to another artist for a solid month. This doco took me back to my school days when I was repping hard for the real hip hop. That wasn't even a full decade ago and I feel a certain type of way; I can just imagine by a fraction how nostalgic some of you vets must feel. Thank you, A-Plus, Opio, Tajai and Phesto. We have not met but you four are heroes to a Gen-Y light skin mixed brother living halfway across the globe in Australia. I want you guys to know that. Much love. Lamoni

I could write a book about the importance of this album to me. "It means more to me than it could ever mean to you." Ok, picture this: Its freshman year (circa September 1993) of a magnet high school that I felt completely intimidated by. I am from the hood in Nashville, TN. This is not my zoned school or neighborhood friends. I ride the city bus to school and listened to '93 til Infinity EVERY DAY on my walkman; also while in school to avoid interacting with these smart kids that I didn't feel I related to. I felt like this album, this group was the best description of me: a black kid from the hood that loved hiphop and had an extensive vocabulary. Still, the SOM were using words I loved, over beats I loved, with flows that were superior to anything I'd ever heard before. So...I am in the library listening to '93 and these girls were in the library too one table over from me. I was by myself or there was someone at the same table as me, but I didn't really know them. I was trying not to look at the girls because they were sophomores and I thought they were my speed, but had no game to throw at them. I saw them looking at me, but it just drove me deeper into my walkman. One girl gets up and approaches me and she's one of the cuter ones. As she draws near my anxiety grows. She motions for me to come out of my headphones and ask me what my name is. All my 14 year old brain could muster as she and the other girls looked at me was..."I'm the n____ with the better rhymes!" (Limitations) Immediately after I said it I felt like an idiot. Thanks SOM! There's so much more to say. Congrats on holding it down for nearly 30 years. My obsession today is Eshon Burgundy. Y'all should do a song with him. Peace.

Dude, listen to that’s how it is on the LP, and then listen to the video version. It’s been one of my favourite songs since the day it came out, and I JUST noticed that the bass in the video is a tint but different than the album

Dope ass documentary.. I still to this day support their grind. It was a big win for these brothers to keep their publishings, but the label did them dirty.. salute to his stepfather & their ability to remain steadfast. Salute to Souls of Mischief 💯🫡 Hip Hop Icons who needs to be discussed way more often when speaking about Hip Hop pioneers..

Man, I really hope my generation jumps back to this sound. There was just something so intriguing about this entire era as a whole. When music was more artistic expression as opposed to trend. Nothing sounded the same, raw, real, competitive, free spirited by nature. It was art. Bring this shit back!

🎧😌 "93 Til' Infinity". Crazy how that year in general was so synonymous with so many hip-hop classics from Souls, to Tribe, Wu-Tang, and Black Moon. 😌 7th grade in junior high and that was a DOPE ass year in hip-hop history! 😏👍🏾 Souls of Mischief and Hiero definitely made an impact in the culture!
