Donnell is a great performer but he went through a period where he disrespected his fans during his public performances which resulted in a lot of fans turning away from him. I personally was at one such performance where the audience walked out in droves where he was the headliner.

Didn't remember the words to his own songs and asked the audience to sing along and then cussed them out when he had not engaged them. Everyone else was on point, The lineup was Men at Large Rude Boys, Dave Hollister, Jagged Edge, Next, and Carl Thomas. They brought their A games. His performance was so bad and he was the last act on. Everyone was so hype. My daughter actually went on his Instagram and told him he needed to treat his fans better. He cussed her out and blocked her. The whole front section of the theatre literally cleared out. BTW we were not in the cheap seats so this was nearly a close-up and personal account.
