It is really difficult, but in some passages and in a very subtle way, it makes me opt for the AXA35. Thanks

They sound so close that they're almost indistinguishable. So, unless you need more power to drive a power hungry speaker in a large room, there's no reason to spend the extra money on the 81, unless you crave really deep bass too, because the 81 does have more bass weight than the 25 or 35. It definitely sounds better than the 61.

I agree. It is hard to tell unless they are in front of us.

The only way to tell the 25 is on is when the always lit led is a tad brighter than normal, although the amp switches off after 20mins of quiet which can also be a clue. The 35 always starts at the same fairly quiet volume that can’t be set to come on louder - and that gets annoying.

Yeah, sonic difference are tiny. Can come down to power, features and value. Cudos to Cambridge for consistancy between them.

Overall the CXA81 did best I think it Tied with the AXA 35 in the first song AXA25 too bright. I actually tink the AXA25 won the second one CXA81 second and AXA35 third. Probably because the AXA25 added a bit more distortion to an already distortion driven song. The LS50 is ofcourse playing a part in that as well.

axa25= lm4766 vs AXA35= lm3886. I think lm3886 is best sounding low buget amp ever made.
