That's so funny, was literally looking for some gameplay footage for research just now and what do you know, good ol' Greg pops up :) One thing I found curious about the narrator voice is how aggressively it has been de-noised and gated. At times I find it makes it almost less intelligible that way.

As a wannabe sound designer (with 2 years of paid experience, though), I'm always torn between either focusing on the gameplay, passive audio analysis and/or playing with a podcast blasting louder than the game, because "I don't have the time for them separately" 😄This is going to be a good series for people like me, so I'll happily see more games being covered, hopefully at least one from all major genres (mmo, rts, point&click, fps, younameit) :)
