thankyou-this is so good to see .I am a recent graduate of SHA one on one in Australia . it's certainly exciting to think that one day that will happen in hospitals ...Im ready with my bowls now! :))) . I found listening on headphones to music (classical) while on the dentist chair reduced distress and pain radically . Also I have found that Humming whilst in pain reduces pain radically . There is definitely something in this. From my personal experience, chanting Buddhist mantra very slowly and clearly in my mind whilst undergoing invasive dental treatment was extraordinarily effective. The pain was reduced and manageable and I came out walking on air.
